Love this restaurant. I have tried almost every single major menu item from this store except for the tenders (I'm not a huge tender fan). The chicken is the best I have had so far in my life. It's crispy and juicy. After being disappointed by Popeye and KFC fried chicken that is very often dry and chewy. So I decided to try this store. Boy I was surprised. The chicken is crispy and juicy. I have to say be aware that all the chicken tend to be on the saltier side because of the topping but you can order the original non dressed one if you like yours to be more mild in flavour. I also tried the Philippine brand Jollibee but I didn't really like the very obvious peanut oil taste in their chicken (perhaps because of their lack of additional seasoning in their batter). But I didn't have a problem with the original chicken K- Wing | 16 Piece ( Up to 2 flavors). It's perfectly seasoned. I also lovvvve the 4. Shrimp Toast. I only had it in this store and it's sooo good, love the texture. My top flavours are the tomato and the one with the red powder. The other ones are coated with sauce. Its tasty but It's just not my favourite. The thick sauce and oiliness clogs up my throat and give me pretty bad heartburns. However I love that they give me an option. I like the sauce ones for dinner and for breakfast I like the ones without the sauce (yes i am that crazy about fried chicken that I eat it for both breakfast and dinner). Okay here are some criticisms and things I hope they do better. The individual fried shrimp was way too salty and spicy when I ordered it which made it hard to eat. I feel like a lighter flavour like Japanese tempura suits it more as a side dish. I feel like all the oils from the main dish(fried chicken) doesn't match well with the heavy spiced shrimp. I like the 4. Shrimp Toast better since it's the right saltiness and spice level. Also the chicken with rice dish was way too salty the garlicky flavour was way too overpowering. I felt like I was eating cloves of garlic or raw onion on rice. I hope it can be more like Taiwanese popcorn chicken which is light but still with some spice. This way it balances well with the rice and with fried chicken K- Wing | 16 Piece ( Up to 2 flavors). I hope these things can be improved upon. I feel like this restaurant has the best fried chicken please don't change that part. I am coming back almost weekly for the fried chicken and 4. Shrimp Toast. But the other side dishes was the worst I had in a while. I really want this restaurant to improve this aspect. The kimchi fried rice was also way too oily. Somehow it felt way more oily than the fried chicken themself. I found it hard to swallow. But I love how it comes in a instant noodle container. Love the look. I wonder where the instant noodles go. Do the chefs eat the instant noodles so that they have the paper cup to hold...

So we decided to give them a second chance and try their other popular items.
Mala Sauce ($2 for 2 Oz): This was an interesting sauce. It tasted like a mayo version of the chili oil. Wouldn't get it again.
YangYum Sauce ($2 for 2 Oz): This is on the sweeter side and my preferred sauce.
The coleslaw thing is still nasty to me. I couldn't eat more than a few bites.
K-Chicken Burger ($13): This was okay & underwhelming. The ingredients didn't work together.
Shrimp Toast ($9.50): These were good and different. The toast was crispy & remained so the entire time. The shrimp was really good, especially with the dipping sauce.
Cheese Bomb Half Chicken ($19): We were scared to try their fried chicken again after the first experience but this one was surprisingly good! Still not the best Korean fried chicken we had but at least we liked it this time. The fried chicken was very crunchy and had a more even meat to batter ratio.
We were really excited to try the Korean fried chicken here after reading the rave reviews on Yelp but we were sorely disappointed.
We ordered via Postmates, and the food delivered within 40 minutes. The wings are so oily they soaked through the 2 paper boxes. My hands and table were stained with oil so I recommend they figure out a better packaging solution.
We got wings in 2 different flavors. The wings were bigger than other places, but they were mostly fried batter and barely any chicken. I got full after eating 3-4 wings because they were just too heavy. The boxes also had a few fried rice cakes inside but they were too hard to eat.
They provided a marinated jalapeno radish and some strange purple looking cole slaw that was nasty.
Boneless Honey Butter Wings (8 pieces for $19): We were shocked at how terrible this flavor was and couldn't believe this was honey butter. It tasted like crawfish guys. CRAWFISH. We were just flabbergasted. We each ate one, and the rest is sitting in the fridge. I'm debating if I should make my own sauce and re-marinate the leftover wings.
Bone In Galbi Wings (8 pieces for $19): The Galbi flavor was significantly better than the honey butter flavor but in comparison to all the other KFC restaurants in K-Town alone, it...
Read moreCame here off of a recommendation for supposedly some really good food. The food was good but not anything to really rave about for me. Ordered 5 items including the cheese balls, shrimp toast, and the fried rice.
Great music playing in the restaurant. Reminded me of that BBQ playlist my family would play when we would all get together on a summer day for a party. Lots of fun signs, bright colors and posters.
Less than 10 mins later after ordering out came the cheese balls. For me, it wasnât what I was expecting. The flavor was outputting and cold to the touch in the center. Didnât care for that one bit.
Shrimp toast came out over cooked but the filling tasted good. The outside was burnt, some pieces almost black, so the sweet sauce had to mask that bitterness.
Kimchi fried rice is a must get. Rice had great texture, not mushy but firm. A little spicy and a nice char from the pan! Excellent Iâd say.
Next the chicken wings! Had high hopes for these bad boysâŚbut they didnât do me justice. Donât get me wrong, the sauce was sweet, rich and savory. Exterior, crunchy nicely fried crust. The chicken was thick, juicy and hot. The flavor of the actual chicken was missing. It was just a fried wing tossed in sauce which didnât make it special. For me I would have liked a more seasoned wing but thatâs just me and who came with me.
The chicken sandwich. Last but not least. Thin piece of chicken, heavily coated in the batter/flour mixture. Great choice of ingredients the sauce, pickled veggies. Too much bread for that chicken though.
Overall the food was okay for the price. Try for yourself it might be...
