Stopped by for dinner in the middle of the week. The hostess was very welcoming, and the time we were quoted ended up to be very accurate. The host that walked us the the table was very nice, asking us if we celebrating anything special and gave us his personal recommendation for the ribs. The server Michelle greeted us very quickly taking our drink order. We went ahead, placed a kids meal order for our hungry little one (chicken fingers and fries). We were in the back section, which quickly became crowded and loud, understandable as it was a PM rush, but the atmosphere was still comfortable. The waters and kids drinks also came out quickly. Still no kids meal (or adult beverages that were ordered), but we were able to at least place our order. Minutes after our order was placed, I did notice that the table that was seated after us was being served their entrees. Still no kids meal (again, chicken fingers and fries) or adult beverages. We were able to wave down Michelle and ask her about the kids meal and she said it was almost done. Shortly thereafter, a team member brought out an order of cold fries and lukewarm chicken. Our adult beverages finally arrived, very very very salty. We were able to drink what we could, but we were never offered any more. Our food finally arrived (the non- alcoholic drinks are gone at this point... water, lemonade, coke... and never refilled). My cousin and I ordered the tri-tip. Both meat entrees were cooked as ordered and quite tasty. My sides were sweet potatoes and mac w/ cheese, as I was sharing with my son. The mashed sweet potatoes paired very well with the tri-tip, I would definitely recommend this combination. My husband ordered the grilled salmon with broccoli and mashed potatoes. He let me know his food was very good also. He cleaned his plate! My son ordered the sirloin with broccoli and mashed potatoes as well. His steak was far more undercooked than his request, but since no one checked on us after the food was delivered, we did not send it back. By now, all the tables in our section had eaten, paid, and left. We were waiting 20 minutes with empty glasses, dirty dishes, and a plate full of an uneaten kids dinner. Finally received the check, only to find out my husband and my son were charged for their broccoli. This was not realized when it was ordered, and Michelle didn't mention they would be additional charges. We most likely would have still ordered it for my husband, but with better communication, my son probably would have skipped it. After being visibly frustrated, full, yet thirsty with a hungry child- we were finally able to pay our tab and head home. Overall- this was not the experience we were hoping for. It may be a while before we try this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Woodranch, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home.
We started our meal with a order of hot wings as an appetizer, and let me tell you, they were absolutely mouth-watering! Spicy and tender, with just the right amount of sauce, they set the tone for a fantastic meal.
For my main course, I opted for the Bulkeye Burger, and I'm so glad I did. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, and paired with a tangy slaw and crispy bacon, it was a match made in heaven. The burger was well done, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice.
My girlfriend, on the other hand, went for the Barbecue Tri-Tip Sandwich, and she raved about it. The tender and juicy tri-tip was smothered in a rich and tangy barbecue sauce, and served on a soft bun with a side of crispy onion rings. She said it was one of the best sandwiches she's had in a long time!
But what really made our experience stand out was the exceptional service we received. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also top-notch, with a rustic-chic decor that made us feel like we were dining in a cozy cabin rather than a busy restaurant.
Overall, we had an incredible experience at Woodranch, and we can't wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. If you're looking for a great barbecue joint with fantastic food and service, look no further...
Read moreThe high rating is for the food and most staff members. My family and I have been long time customers. Easter Sunday, my son drove to enjoy some after dinner drinks and socialize. I sat on the Eastside of the bar, with my back to the hostess. No one was on my side nor around the corner, I put music on my phone on low as I was drinking. A woman walked around the area a couple of times then stopped to talk to the hostess. As I was enjoying my evening, I felt a presence behind me, the WOMAN was now standing behind me looking my way, I went back to what I was doing. Short time later she was one chair over standing there looking at me. She said " You don't like the music that were playing, I asked her if any one was complaining, she said no. Then it sounded like she said " we want to prevent that". She walked away but came back shortly, I shut the phone off and put it away. This woman never greeted, never introduced herself. She came back a third time and was standing inside the bar facing me. I am f...... livid by this time . I told her she s... as a manager. Her name was SAM. I have never felt so degraded, embarrassed or humiliated in my life. Needless to say I left. I hope to resolve this soon so that we may enjoy wood ranch once again. I have no problem taking this up with the owners, even possible legal action! Update 04/27/25. Meet with Sam, I apologized for my 50%. Then meet with the two bartenders on that night. I explained to them that the incident had nothing to do with them, they served me well and tonight I showed them my...
