In the particular above store everyone from security to cashier to jewelry counter to fitting room associates were rude and unhappy. Really worst experience if I wasn’t on the time crunch I would never spend my hard earn money at such place where no one is welcoming and giving me horrible vibes. What was the criteria of the Ross customer service rude and mean towards the customers. I really want someone to take actions against this they made me feel horrible. The way security guys walking around me made me think I m a thief. The jewelry counter lady don’t know name she is middle age, I liked one of the bracelet asked to hold for me meantime I will look around. First she was forcing me to buy some other bracelet don’t know why she was bossy. I told her to put on hold when I came back the bracelet I put on hold box was badly messed up it was fine before I asked the lady what happened it was fine before she said it is Ross what you expect buy something else so I end up not buying it. Since I was on time crunch Still spend more than $250. They can’t respect their own job how they will respect the customers. I definitely want you guys to educate your employees how to speak with customers. I always preferred better experience than of a good deal. So I will never recommend my friends and family to go that particular store. And I request to take...
Read moreRude, Discriminatory, and Unprofessional Treatment by Employees I had a deeply upsetting experience at this Ross location today October 27. Two employees - one named Elizette on register 7 and a female security guard - treated me in an unprofessional, disrespectful, and humiliating manner. Without any valid reason, they accused me of stealing, raised their voices, and even snatched items out of my hands in front of other customers. Their aggressive behavior made me feel targeted, embarrassed, and discriminated against. My children were with me at the time, which made the entire situation even more uncomfortable and stressful for our family. Another customer even had to step in and tell the cashier to lower her tone, pointing out that her behavior was inappropriate and discriminatory. After the situation was reviewed and cameras confirmed that nothing had been stolen, no apology was offered by the employees involved or the store manager. This incident reflects a serious lack of professionalism, empathy, and proper training. Ross management and corporate need to review this matter, hold the employees accountable, and ensure that all staff are trained on how to respectfully and appropriately address customers. No one should ever be treated this way -- especially in front of their children and...
Read moreWalked into the Ross store, Northridge Fashion Center. The security person was near the door, where all the shopping carts, could obviously see I was looking for cart, after going 4 carts that did NOT WORK. I asked can you tell me which sets of carts work. He pointed to a cart, that had a lot of trash in it, he said that works. Needless to say that also didn’t work. He never took one second to help, the person next him while both continued chatting one another possibly the manager who was in black. This is absolutely the WORST Ross I’ve been at. The handheld carts very dirty, and also didn’t work. I walked out shortly after that. I WOULD NEVER BACK TO THIS ROSS STORE EVEN IF THEY GAVE THINGS AWAY. Corporate headquarters ROSS need to go into this store as customer and see how this store is and fire the manager or whoever is in charge. As a customer with very deep pockets this STORE in Northridge Fashion Center has lost a customer. Had it been my first experience with ROSS STORES, I would have never gone back. However since I’ve been to a few Ross stores, which are much more friendly and customer service oriented I would return to ones I had good experience with.
I may be one customer, but based on a few reviews at this store, it definitely needs a new management team...
