The Funnel House — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The lady who was helping me and my girlfriend was extremely kind, helpful, and patient. I didn’t get her name but it was on Tuesday night July 15th. She needs to be given a raise. What wasn’t amazing was the poor level of management this place establishes. She was the ONLY employee working taking orders and making orders for over 10 people and more people kept walking in after we left. It is absolutely ridiculous that she was left alone dealing with crowds of people at night. Considering the place closes at midnight, leaving a woman alone at night to close a store when there will be no people around is absolutely ridiculous. I hope this store takes better care of their female employees and employees in general. I hope the lady who helped me and my girlfriend reads this and knows how grateful we are for her very excellent customer service in such a stressful situation....

Good Funnel Cake, But Terrible Groupon Experience

Tried The Funnel House for the first time after finding a $20 off Groupon. The funnel cake itself was actually really good but the experience getting there was frustrating.

The cashier didn’t know how to redeem the Groupon and ended up marking it as redeemed without applying the discount to my purchase. That meant I couldn’t get a refund through Groupon, and I still had to pay nearly the full amount out of pocket. The item I ordered was close to the value left on the deal, but not exact and no effort was made to correct the mistake or involve a manager.

It’s disappointing when a business offers a Groupon but isn’t prepared to honor it properly. Great-tasting dessert, but unfortunately the lack of customer service made it a one-time...

Cute little place with tasty treats! It's right by Bar Louie with a huge parking lot for the plaza. Got the Funnel Sundae with coffee and churro ice cream and chocolate and marshmallow drizzle. So good! Funnel cake was crunchy outside and soft inside, ice creams were soft and creamy and it all tasted good mixed together. The Churro Dunker with nutella was really yummy and honestly the Churro is bomb alone. It doesn't taste like a regular churro though, it was heavily covered with sugar and spices but not the usual, maybe ginger bread? Regardless it was crispy soft and delicious! Washed it all down with a freshly made hot coffee. The guy was friendly and they had tables outside to enjoy it all. You can also sit on the Little grassy circle if you wanted. Great spot to satisfy...
