This One Star is not for the theater this is for the on floor manager last Friday November 18 between 5PM & 8PM ( Im not sure but I think his name is Nixon) Anyway, the movie Almost Christmas was about to start when these bunch of middle school kids (about 20) came in. They were noisy, keep changing sits and standing up and down. When the featured movie started they are still making loud noise. Laughing , changing seats , throwing each other popcorn..The first time I said something , was when they are laughing loud on the sentimental scene, but they never stop . They were ignoring me and my husband, so my husband decided to to call security in the middle of the movie. 2 Guys came , one looks like the cleaner & one is a little chubby guy wearing black polo shirt. The guy in polo shirt stayed till the end of the movie but didn't do anything. So we talked to him on our way out., what he said really surprised us and the other 2 adults that was watching too. He said " those kids didn't cause any harm " so my husband said, we missed parts of the movies because they were noisy and I needed to get you. The guy just smile.. so I interfere, " do you even know if they have tickets.? " then he said,,I will check..but all he does when he was approaching the kids was " you guys are being noisy " wow !!! I said. Looks like he's scared to approach these bunch of kids .
Anyway, we were mad..we been going to this theater for more than 15 years now.. and since then we always find staff nice and friendly especially the cashiers. But this men in Uniform thinks like they are somebody that you're not...
Read moreTitle: A Disappointing Experience at AMC Northridge 10
I recently visited the AMC Northridge 10 expecting a pleasant movie experience, but sadly, it fell far short of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the size and overall condition of the theater. It's small and, unfortunately, carries an unpleasant odor that lingers throughout the space.
The seating was another major letdown. The seats are not only old but also stained, dirty, and remarkably uncomfortable. I couldn’t believe how neglected they appeared. To make matters worse, the cup holders were filled with dirt particles and other debris, which was quite off-putting.
It’s clear that this theater is in dire need of a remodel. The overall condition is unacceptable for a movie-going experience, and it left me questioning the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire establishment.
Additionally, the service at the front desk was less than friendly. The employees seemed indifferent and not at all accommodating, which only added to my disappointment.
As this is my very first review, I had hoped to share a positive experience, but I cannot recommend AMC Northridge 10 in good conscience. If you’re looking for a quality movie theater experience, I urge you to look elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment and DO...
Read moreI'm actually giving 3 stars for the film, not the theatre itself. I am recovering from a number of injuries, so we decided that to sit through a long film, we'd 'splurge' and go to either the Pacific or Winnetka theatres, because they both had very comfortable seats, that recline, and have footrests that can be adjusted. Or so we thought. It's really annoying to have to go inside to buy tickets at the concession area, because there aren't any signs that designate which "stations" sell tickets. We'd not bought our tickets the night before, because we forgot. But to stand in a popcorn line for 5-10 minutes, only to overhear the guy at the concession stand, tell people in front of us that "tickets are sold 'over there'", without pointing. We almost missed going in while the lights were still on. (That's important because my husband is legally blind.) I swore I'd never return to this theatre, but sometimes there isn't a lot of choice. Seems there are only a limited # of films shown, and both the Pacific Theaters at Northridge Mall and Winnetka always show the same films. We actually prefer the Regency Theater in Granada Hills or the Laemmle on Ventura Blvd. If at all possible, go to a different theatre. First time in years that I found my sandal stuck in a wad of gum...
