My husband was looking for something to eat this morning, while working, and he saw this restaurant and wanted to try the chicken. He said that as soon as he crossed the door, some employee of the restaurant hand signaled him to stop and told him to step out of the restaurant, he said he was confused and he thought that perhaps they were doing something and were going to call him back in soon, but no, he stayed there for a moment waiting, he said that some other people got in and same employee kindly greeted them and took care of them, he left. He said the restaurant had plenty of seats available and doesn't understand why they asked him to leave. Why would they do this, to a customer willing to spend their hard earned money on your restaurant? That's totally unacceptable, my husband can't believe the way they treated him, not even allowing him in. And for the record, we're not the kind of people who dress inappropriately to think that they used this as an excuse to stop him at the door, we're regular, conservative people, who love to try all kinds of foods and would love to have a good, decent meal when we're hungry, which obviously isn't going to happen in this...
ย ย ย Read moreI missed the taste of old-fashioned Jjajangmyeon. After trying various places in LA, I couldnโt find a Jjajangmyeon restaurant that suited my taste. Then I discovered โZombie Jjajangmyeonโ through Google. The price for a bowl of Jjajangmyeon was $4.90, and other menu items were also reasonably priced. The reviews were good, likely because of the great value for money.
I went there with my daughter. However, with only four tables in the restaurant, we had to wait in line. Normally, I donโt wait in lines for food, but since we were already there, I decided to wait. After about 20 minutes, we got a table. The restaurant was very shabby and unkempt, so I didnโt expect much.
But the moment I tasted the Jjajangmyeon, I was happyโit was the nostalgic flavor I had missed so much.
The next day, I went back with my husband. We tried the chicken and Jjajangmyeon again. While the food didnโt suit my kidsโ tastes, it seemed perfect for those of us who grew up...
ย ย ย Read moreToday, my husband and I visited a nearby restaurant for the first time in the afternoon. The restaurant had a special offer, with jjajangmyeon priced at $4.99 and a whole fried chicken at $20.99, which seemed very good price. Curious about the taste, we ordered jjajangmyeon, half soy sauce chicken, and half fried chicken. Surprisingly, the jjajangmyeon and soy sauce chicken were delicious. The jjajangmyeon had an authentic flavor, generous portions, and ample sauce. I enjoyed every bite.
The restaurant, with about four tables, is small and it doesn't give off a particularly neat vibe. The parking space is limited, so I thought it might be better to do takeout next time.
I felt that the owner was friendly and put effort into the food. The prices and taste were satisfying. Personally, I didn't find the fried chicken was impressive. I plan to order jjajangmyeon and soy sauce...
