Coming to super bowl Asian kitchen is kind of like it says in the name of the restaurant, it feels as though you walked into someone’s kitchen, in a good homey kind of way.
There are about 8 seats in the entire place, two people working, it’s a partial open air kitchen so you can see what they are making which is good!
The woman behind the wall is making my smoothie it’s a green tea matcha 🍵. I can see her add the boba balls to the bottom of the plastic cup.
The cook is slicing the beef right in front of my eyes. I ordered pad Thai with shrimp.
The price point felt fairly standard for this economy and area, that is slightly high.
They have a self serve water fountain which is great and a very clean restroom. The decor is homey and cute.
Their menu is fairly extensive especially for the size of the place with everything from hot basil beef to Cajun fries, beautiful desserts like their mango sticky rice and many different kinds of boba.
Their matcha boba is ok, I’m no expert on how matcha should taste but this does not seem like ceremonial grade to me. It’s pale green, icy, not too sweet.
Staff is very friendly

There are a lot of good Thai options in this neighborhood. Maybe pad Thai was not their specialty.
The food in general left a lot to be desired. This might knock it down two...
Read moreThe food is good, but I would have rather gone somewhere else just by the service. I placed my order online and went to pick it up, but the cashier lady barely acknowledged my presence. It sounds silly, but it's so bizarre to get to a place where they just stare at you when you arrive (I was the only customer). I even said hello. When i got my order, she just placed it on the counter without saying a word. I'm sure she could have mustered a "thank you." It wasn't a language issue but something else. I ate my food with a bitter taste. Never...
Read moreWe found this adorable place during a road trip to LA. We ordered the fried basil pork belly and the boiled chicken, which were both delicious and served fresh and hot. The chicken was some of the best I’ve had, and the yellow rice was uniquely savory. The nicest young lady and cook run this place, and they added in a bonus side of crispy crab rangoons. We also had a refreshing iced lychee tea with rainbow jelly (highly recommend). Everything was served under 15 minutes. Very...
