Joe's Cafe & Donuts & King Cakes — Restaurant in Louisiana

Really wish i could give zero stars, Pulled up all three employees who were working this shift were outside, One of them went back inside, (im guessing to help me, but that didnt happen) , I walked in and the lady who i thought was going to help me was in the back and im sure she heard me come in because theres a bell that went off when i opened the door, I waited for her to come to the front to help me, I waited there for maybe 5 minutes, and the lady never came to help me. So as im leaving the other two workers are outside smoking a cigg, and I asked them if they were closed and a guy employee told me they never close, and i replied "well no one is up there" and the other worker who was an elderly lady said "oh she didnt help you" i told her no one came to help me , then she replied "oh im sorry" and continued to smoke her cigg, without anyone else offering to help, ridiculous, awful service. They didnt even give care!

All Kudos to Miss Carrie👑! SHE and her awesome customer service actually surpassed the disappointment of the cook’s onion rings that day. SHE was patient, attentive and very friendly. Very knowledgeable of the menu items and had only started there about 2 months prior! A customer and her young daughter came in asking about eggs in the donuts due to allergies - a thing to take seriously. Very seriously. Carrie was VERY patient professional and offered them a real-time inquiry and answers on the SPOT. The Roast beef PB was good, but the onion rings-disgusting (made by the cook in the back & NOT dropped by Carrie) were cold, old & GREASY AF. I didn’t complain - but just didn’t eat them. I was in a hurry to catch a flight. Again, Carrie came to the rescue by dropping the glazed beignet I had ordered, HERSELF to speed my order along & they were absolutely EVERYTHING. Owners??? Management??? She seriously deserves a meaningful RAISE! Please Keep her. If she’s not there, my next time in town (?) I don’t even want to stop by. Seriously. Carrie saved my experience!
