We visited for the first time last night. Party of 2, we asked to be seated outside, and the patio sits right at the entrance of 4th street live. However, it wasn’t very lively! It was a Wednesday night..
We received bread after we were seated, which was very old. We asked for fresh bread, which again, was cold. anyhow, our server was sweet, very polite, gave us recommendations upon request. We followed her recommendations for the pork tomahawk and filet. Such a disappointment. The filet, ordered mid rare, came out mid-well. I sent it back immediately. My friends pork tomahawk was nothing to write home about. It was slightly overcooked, but edible. It lacked flavor, in the utmost way. It was simply a bland pork chop. He asked for additional marinade, which they couldn’t provide, so we asked for a sauce that would compliment it.. it arrived 8 minutes AFTER his meal was finished. Meanwhile, I STILL was without my meal or any food, and he had completely finished his. The table adjacent to us also sent back the lasagna as they explained it was inedible. Fast forward an additional 10 minutes and I received my mid-rare steak. I will say, it was cooked perfectly this time, however the house made sauce that it comes in, was not good. I ate 2 bites. The mashed potato’s were over buttered and had such a heavy oil taste they also were not eaten. The asparagus was not seasoned and had a terrible bitter taste.
The bill was $120.00, and neither of us satisfied nor happy, and never once did anyone come to talk to us knowing our situation. We will not return, and strong suggest you avoid it as well. 10/10 would...
Read moreNo wait for a party of 3 on a Tuesday night. We started off with cocktails. I ordered the Italian Margarita. It was light and refreshing. One friend ordered the espresso martini, it was delicious. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere, and the owner came by and introduced himself soon after we received our drinks. We ordered the caprese salad to share as an appetizer, it did not come out until after our meals. The waitress apologized and we were not charged for it. It was just okay, nothing bad, but nothing great about it either. Two of us ordered the pesto gnocchi for our main course, and really wanted to like it, but we both felt it lacked flavor and was overcooked. After some salt, the flavor was a bit better. We noticed that the other tables had bread, and we didn't. We did receive some after asking our waitress, who confessed that we should have received some, and she apologized. Considering that this is a new restaurant and that our waitress was new, it seemed to be a minor oversight. Our other friend ordered the eggplant Parm and it was delicious. I think this restaurant is off to a good start, with highlights being the cocktails, friendly staff, and...
Read moreWow. I want to start by saying that this restaurant is a 1000 out of 1000. When you arrive, the service is incredible. You are greeted by the manager named Niko, very personable, polite and knowledgeable about the place and everything they offer there. The waiters are very friendly. Everything is spectacular, the atmosphere, the appropriate music, the right and precise speech. It is a spacious and very bright place. I have been to Italy and eaten the best dishes. And I was looking for something like this in this place. Until now, my family and I found it. We had a pleasant evening. Pleasant conversations. The entire menu is special. The bread made by them there, the tomato sauce wow, just like my grandmother would make it. The pasta with clams, my little gullet, as well as the fish, wow. Without forgetting to mention the cream soup, my mother loved it. Each dish is a delight. Thank you for your attention. The wine is my favorite drink and the one I chose is the best. Quality, price and service are perfect. Thank you for meeting people like Niko who loves...
