Had a very off-putting experience here today. My wife and I were having lunch nearby and decided to check out this market, as it had been recommended by a coworker of ours. We walk in where only the coffee/bar area and the crepery were open. Since we were going back to work there was no need for any of these, but we opted to walk through since it was large enough that we couldn't see from the door.
We weren't bothering anybody and just about to head out when a frantic person in the hallway outside was gesturing wildly - although it was unclear why. He then pointed toward the door and we realized he wanted us to go over there (I incorrectly assumed that it got locked somehow and he couldn't get in). He opened the door for us to leave and said thank you. Our response was, "Are you not open?" His response was, "We're closed." Then proceeded to usher us away in an abrupt, rude manner.
The kicker is that there were no posted hours physically anywhere that we could see, and Google had us there well within the posted hours online. There was no signage that they were not open. I now see that we shouldn't have been in there, but there's a much better way of handling it than acting frantic and rude. We were close enough to another 5-6 workers, and nobody said anything to us.
This was off-putting enough that not only will we not be coming back, but I will not be recommending it to anybody else. Hopefully they get some signage or clarify their open hours in some way so that others don't go through this...
