We had a welcome party on the 2nd floor at Whiskey Row Goodwoods the night before our son and his fiancé got married. James, the event coordinator and Monica, the lead bartender did a fabulous job making sure that we were happy with everything we wanted and planned for. They were able to incorporate the decors we brought in to make the area more festive. The finger foods were great and the drinks to order were spot on. It was perfect having the option to have a semi enclosed outdoor space for those who wanted to be outside. We were worried that the band who was playing on the stage might be too loud. But our worries were quickly dissipated as they were playing at a perfect volume. James was able to patch in a slide video of the celebrated couple onto the multiple tv’s on the second floor. We really appreciated that James, Monica, jovial bartender, Chris, and his team worked hard to appease us and make sure all of our expectations were met. It was very apparent that a GOOD time was had by us all!! We highly recommend this place and the team for...

Expect a pleasant staff to largely ignore you. You will meet them all as you chase them down for drinks, your check and other needs. They will all respond – eventually. A manager may visit and apologize – only for the service to get worse after the apology.
To be fair we dined at the Owensboro location a couple months ago – and the service was excellent as was the food. Unfortunately, Whiskey Row is nothing like Owensboro.
This location has been open for about three months and according to the manager they are still in their “soft opening” At this rate its best to avoid for the next year while the work out the kinks. Of course, you’ll risk they will be closed in a year – but that...

The location is excellent and the beer selection is strong, but I was surprised to find my Old Fashioned and all of my draft beers served in plastic cups. When I asked the bartender about it, she explained it was to avoid the hassle of cleaning it up if someone dropped a glass. I thought to myself we’re all adults here. It’s not like it’s a fraternity party. Also, the cups got smaller with each round of beers but cost the same. My last beer was so tiny I poured it into my previous cup just to show the difference (see photo). When I questioned the bartender about the SMALLER plastic cup, she just turned and walked away. For the prices, I think glassware and a bit more consistency would make the experience...
