Visited on a Wednesday at 11am. Parking was no problem this early. Service was quick and friendly. There is one menu item. Burger and fries for $14. This is the kind of place that makes you recalibrate your scoring system. I could go back for next weeks lunch. I could go back tomorrow. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever had alongside very tasty fries. Here's the thing about the burger (and fries). There is nothing special about it. No gimmick, unless you consider quality ingredients a gimmick. It is simply a perfect example of a cheeseburger. Every ingredient and proportion is as a cartoonishly perfect cheeseburger would be. A minor note that I appreciated - they sell largish bottles of spring water rather than small bottles of drinking water. We look forward to our next visit, and would not hesitate recommending it to others. Caveat: weather and insect activity can and will affect your experience here. Their grass fed burger has notes of Tall Fescue and Bermuda Grass, with a slightly sweet horse compost finish. Absolutely amazing! Pair it with a nice Açai Kombucha!

Seriously though, its a good smash burger, but the absolutely raving reviews are too much for me. People seem to go over board because its a truck that only opens a few days a week for a couple of hours at a time serving farm to truck grass fed beef.

In my honest opinion, Toasty's is still the top smash burger in Louisville. It is also cheaper and you wash it down it with a cold and beer.
