Delicious food and wonderful staff. We went on a Sunday evening- the patio was busier than the inside and I noticed servers greeting tables inside and out including our bartender making rounds outside as well. Complete honesty it did take a little longer to place our order because of this and seemed as if the bartender was pacing the orders to the kitchen so it wouldn't get overwhelmed possibly 🤷🏽♀️. We weren't in any hurry as Sundays are my "Friday" and we were just enjoying the time. We sat and had a few drinks that we loved. I had a strawberry jalapeno margarita -fair warning they don't play with the jalapeno first sip got me but it was very tasty after I adjusted my flavor expectations. Once we ordered the food came out fresh, hot and was fantastic. We started with the calamari.. delicious. The enchiladas suizas was full of flavor, The civiche was bright and refreshing, The shrimp around the civiche was mouth watering and my husband and I agreed the shrimp took the spotlight.
"Ladies night" is usually Mexican and we have two go to places-this has just been added to the must frequent list.
Remember that places are still short staffed and things may take a little longer. Deliveries are backed up across the board and they may run out. It does suck but it sucks for the staff too.
This place is worth the wait and (if you drink) the drinks will definitely provide a delicious way to pass the time.
I wish I could remember our bartenders name but either way they were...
Read moreI decided to bring my family out to try this restaurant. The host asked did we want to sit inside or outside. We stated that we wanted to eat inside and the host frowned. Took a few minutes for the server to come take our drink order. The waitress was rushing our drink order while not listening to what we were saying and had to correct her numerous of times to have the order correct. We only ordered 3 drink orders. My daughter noticed it was hair in her water. I had to give her my water. When it was time to put the food order in she said it was no modifications to burgers. Which is odd to say I can’t put the sauce on the side, but ok. One of the members in the party is allergic to tomatoes. We asked can it be removed. She steadily said there are no modifications. We asked to speak to the manager because we didn’t think a person should be forced to have a tomato on the burger if they are allergic. She came back and said the manager said he would allow it. We sat in the front of the restaurant by the windows. The windows were full of flies. Restaurant was very cold air was blowing directly on our seats. It would have nice if it was a very hot day but it was not hot today. Service is slow , the place is not that busy and food is average. Would not attend this...
Read moreMy family and I got racially profiled at this restaurant. When we called the restaurant that day after we had left the person who answered told us the manager/person in charge wasn't in that day so we’d have to call tomorrow. When we pressed them for more information they told us that we could speak to the “boss” which was off because initially they had said nobody in charge was there. The person who answered sounded like they had no idea what was going on and how to handle the situation so I feel like they probably just put someone else on the phone such as a server to pacify us. They also denied any racial profiling when it is very clear that that is what occurred . My mom forgot her wallet so she asked me to pay while she waited in the car with my sister. I waited there for almost 15 minutes while our server pretended to sweep and was watching my mom and sister in their car. I was literally sitting with my dog there too so it was obvious I was waiting to pay. This is literally an example of racial bias and profiling, regardless of what kind of person our server was or her intentions. At least acknowledge it for what it is instead of just calling it...
