McDonald's — Restaurant in Louisville

I don’t post 1 star reviews often, so I hope this review captures the weight of why you should avoid this McDonald’s for the sake of your own safety and wellbeing.

I have not frequented this McDonald’s much, but have not had a single positive experience in any visit I’ve had. They recently remodeled, so we decided to give them another shot and to see the new building. We ordered a mobile order for breakfast through the app and went through the drive thru line to get it. After waiting for 15+ minutes to get to the window they hastily threw us a bag that was the wrong order. We drove up to the next window to get them to correct it and it turns out they ‘lost’ our order and had to remake it on the spot.

Against my better judgement, I went there again for dinner in the spirit of giving second chances. There were wet floor cones in front of the register where you order and the girl was on her phone and of course acted like she didn’t want to be there. After about 15 minutes of waiting on my food (it wasn’t very busy inside) an off the clock employee noticed I hadn’t gotten my food yet and went back there on his break to check on my order (this employee was the only positive in this experience). He told me they gave my food away to someone else which is the second time in one day this has happened. After remaking my meal 20+ minutes into this, they gave me my meal without a drink. I told them I had a drink and he said they are going to get it. After biting Into my sandwich I noticed the meat was undercooked to a level you wouldn’t expect from a fast food meal. After finishing my meal, I still didn’t get a drink and decided I was ready to leave without it.

This McDonald’s has a serious work flow problem. When you give away orders you rush to make them up. And when you rush to make them up enough times, you cut corners and will get someone sick.

I would seriously consider my options before going to this McDonald’s. It’s better to be safe than to get...

This Mc Donalds does not deserve any stars what so ever! I just left ordering a 6pc chicken nugget kids meal the manager at the register was very rude, very unprofessional, and stood there and and argued with me about calories on their meals and for what I'm the customer and my opinion matter about what i was buying! The manager proceeds to go make food once he walks away from the register! He did not go and wash his hands as you suppose to do when ever you go from station to station! The manager went straight over and started touching everything No Gloves!! I arrived home only to find out that he on purpose did not add my son's nuggets to his happy meal so i had to go all the way back up there! I spoke to another manager and he fixed my issue with my sons food and he told me that he would talk to the employee, I told the manager that he gonna have to talk to him about this review I'm going to write. Another manager had just walked in the door and he heard me speaking to the other manager and he looked at me and said THANK YOU PLEASE DONT COME BACK!! He didn't know what the situation was about, he was meddling, and very very unprofessional!! He is a mexican man with the tooth missing in the front! I observed 50% of the employees handling food with out their gloves on!! Their cashier was a young black male working in a hoodie with it covering his head! He brought a lady a cup of ice with no lid and his bare hands was covering her cup! SO many health code violations!! The Health department needs to pay this place a visit!! I been in the restaurant field over 25yrs I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO LOOK FOR!! AND TODAY THIS MC DONALDS FAILED!! They need an honest D in their window!! Sincerely CHEF...

Horrible!! Absolutely by far one of the worst customer service experiences ive ever had, and boy have I had some bad ones with McDonald's. Not only the worst with McDonald's but the worst period. Ordered thru mobile app, which in itself rarely works, and chose curbside because I just got off work. Not just off work but off work over an hour later than I should have and I was tired and hungry and I didn't want to get out of my truck nor sit through the drive-thru. I thought that was the point of mobile ordering. Besides the mobile ordering experience being subpar I had a good feeling it first as I hadn't been there long when I see a woman coming out with what I presume is my food. She approaches my truck hands me a bag says thank you and starts to walk away. I stopped her and say thank you but I also had two drinks with this order. At that point she actually stomped her foot and made a huffing noise and she turned around to I suppose go get my drinks. At that point I decided to get out of my truck and walk into the store because apparently this was very upsetting to her. As I walk towards the store she comes back out where she rolls her eyes and says well what did you get it doesn't say. I tell her my order and say I'll just come in. I checked my mobile order wear it very clearly states what I ordered to drink and walked into the store where I proceeded to the counter to get my own cups and make my own drinks. Which by the way she didn't even say anything to me when she handed them to me. Never again will I give McDonald's...
