Pizza Place Sports Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Louisville

After 10 years of pretty good (usually)pizza and typically poor service, today was the last straw of last straws. We haven't sat down an eaten Inside in 7 years or more because the service was the most consistently poor service of any restaurant I have ever repeatedly dined. We stopped dining in and ordered carryout only as the place is close to home, and the pizza was better than the delivery chains. On a good day, the pizza gets 4 out of 5 stars, on a bad day, as poor as 2 stars. Somehow, we still managed to get a wide range of service from reasonable, to exceptionally poor when just ordering carryout every few weeks. The pizza was occasionally well overcooked, and quite inconsistent overall, but usually acceptable. This is the 3rd time in a year or so that I ordered a pizza, was given 30 minutes to pick-up, arrived in 35-40, only to have my order not even started. Of course, I wasn't told this, only that it would still be 10 minutes. 25 minutes later, my order was done... Incorrectly, but I had to settle for it as is, or wait another 20+ minutes. A sad ending to otherwise decent pizza spot.

A neighbor once described this place as "an atypical experience every time I go in there" and I couldn't have said it better. Skip the headache, find another place with decent pizza, you'll be...

I'm giving this place only 3 stars because of the inconsistency in service. Very spotty service. Sometimes the service and food are spot on and perfect. The food is pretty great... Pizza and wings are friggin delicious. At other times, the service is absolutely horrible. Case in point. A group of us went up there during a normal week-day around dinner time. Service was great, food came out hot and tasty, great experience. A week later, on the same night, same time, it was the complete opposite. The waiter couldn't keep our table's food and drink orders straight and refilled our drinks maybe 3 times within 2 hours. Some of the food wasn't even served until over an hour after it was ordered because it had been sitting in the kitchen for so long they had to recook it according to the waiter. After that, some of the food still came out cold or missing "sides" like fries and whatnot. Maybe they were understaffed that night, who knows. Sometimes restaurants have a bad night, fine. But this isn't a one-off incident, stuff like that has happened several times before. So overall here's the thing. On a good night, the place is great and has great food. But on a bad night, it's just really really bad. Problem is, you just never know which one it's gonna be until...

Great Pizza...love the sauce.... however I would like to give objective feedback to the management. Pricing of the pizza is a bit expensive. I just tried to call and order a pizza for tonight and older gentleman in the back answers the phone I tell him I want to order a pizza for carryout and he says okay and places me on hold for 5 minutes so I hung up I called back and the phone rang 6 times and no one answered. Additionally I ordered a pizza last week and the olives were left off the pizza and the dipping sauce and pepperoncini we're left out. I can understand that there is some transition going on since that upon arrival management was training a new employee. I understand this is a bar atmosphere that makes pizzas entitled the pizza place so I expect more attention to a customer. Again, I will say I love the pizza and it is very close to my home but business-wise I'm having to put a lot of effort in to Simply order a pizza which is a bit on the expensive side and receiving it made incorrectly tops its off negatively. I'll give it one more try but on my way out. Lastly I will say a 14-inch Pizza should be approximately $20 for a supreme not $26. Please take my constructive feedback...
