I give this place 3 stars because I was rudely announced over the intercom what aisle I was in and how the store is closing and if I need any help there's already someone coming to assist me.. I was embaressingly called out in the whole store when I seen 3 other people still in the store walked past me 2 minutes before the announcement.. It was my fault for getting there 20 minutes before they closed just to pick up some yarn but I would of appreciated it if someone just came over to assist me rather than embaress me and announce it over the intercom basically telling me to hurry up when there were others still shopping as well.. I use to love shopping here and liked all the employees cause they were always really nice but this was highly uncalled for! So when you come to shop here just make sure to have enough time to shop and make sure your out 20 minutes before they close or wait to go the next day unless you want to be announced over the intercom and embaressed while they're still getting others checked out.. I had employees keeping tabs on me I guess? Making sure I just hurry up because they all just want to go home when it says though that I had some time left to shop before it was closing time but I hurried up because all the employees were stalking me and announcing if someone in aisle whatever needs assistance than someone is already on their way to assist me because store is closing now over the intercom and I thought, screw this and walked my butt straight to the checkout counter and just stared them done and mean muggin them and didnt say a word because I thought it be best to keepmy mouth shut because when im mad I dont shut up and so that was the best thing I could have done right...
Read moreI... LOVE...HOBBY LOBBY! My manager wanted me to make some chocolate covered pretzels for a cancer cure fundraiser this October (2019). Since I have been with my company, many coworkers have been wanting a lot of the hand made items I make. Being in a bit of a creatice slump, I SUDDENLY felt the need to go to Hobby Lobby at the LAST MINUTE on a Saturday morning (which is an introverts nightmare). I do not drive, so away I went on the bus (about an hour away). When I arrived, I spent about 2.5 hours walking through the store from isle to isle. After the first five minutes I began to feel inspired again. Every minute after that was like Christmas to my creativity. When I left I had supplies to make the following; lanyard key chains, colored scented candles, punch holes in a variety of sizes, clear resin jewelry, card stock (for product information tags), hand painted wooden jewelry, glow in the dark fairy bottles, mini bottle necklaces, paracord bracelets, and beaded jewelry on elastic cords.
I will be rerurning soon for diy soap making supplies and yarn for crocheting.
This fund raiser is going to be a great success. Thanks Hobby Lobby, my inspiration...
Read moreEvery location has exceeded my expectations. Very clean, spacious, well stocked, adequately staffed. Customer oriented & friendly. VERY helpful and patient in assisting me with getting my coupon on my phone for them to scan. Great sale items. THE MOST UNIQUE decor!! If I'm not mistaken I do believe Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays. Another highly respected & honorable policy. Been to Louisville and bowling green stores on several occasions And even on a bad day they have been EXCELLENT! I will definitely return to Hobby Lobby. One of the few places I actually enjoy shopping!! I feel really good about spending my money with a company that stands its ground in regards to being closed on Sundays. In this day in age it speaks volumes and shows its not just about making money and profit. Something we should all be reminded of. Hobby Lobby has...
