Just A Pinch Bakery — Restaurant in Loveland

Stopped by here for the first time on Sunday (12/8/24). A small line but it moved quickly. We decided on a 1/2 dozen sweet kolaches. There were 6 sweet flavors shown on the menu so it was perfect (5 regular, 1 seasonal). When we ordered, we were told there are actually 7 seasonal flavors currently and one of the gals rattled them off to us. We then asked for 6 of the seasonal flavors but we got a mix of seasonal and regular and the ladies didn't ask us which 6 out of 7 seasonal flavors we wanted. All were yummy but, constructive criticism, it would have been helpful to know what flavors were available, like written down somewhere. I couldn't remember all the flavors I was told so wasn't able to order the specific flavors I wanted. I could have asked again but there were others waiting so didn't want to hold up the line any longer. Again, very tasty and we'll be back, just would have been nice to know what we were...

Fantastic pastries. I went at 10am on a Sunday and while the selection was pretty picked over, I was still able to get most of what I wanted! The chocolate babka was INCREDIBLE. The cookies are amazing.

However, the service...oof. I visited at 10am on 1/12/25 and the young woman working the register was horrible! I placed my order ($17 worth of pastries), went to my car, and checked to make sure I had all my items. Half my order was missing! When I went back inside, I explained the situation, showed my receipt and pastry bags, and the woman looked SO. ANNOYED. She then proceeded to only get one of my missing items. When I repeated what else was omitted, she all but rolled her eyes. No apologies, nothing. She was just like, oh.

Definitely check your order before leaving this place! I almost drove away without $8 worth of food.

Five stars for food. One star...

We wanted a sweet treat a few days ago and searched Google for a nearby bakery which came up with Just a Pinch (and others). We decided to give it a try and stopped by late in the morning. We bought some delicious baked goods including some pastries with a chocolate Grenache baked into it and a Rosemary Focaccia bread for take home. We are no strangers to quality baked goods and this place really delivered with unique gourmet and delicious offerings. The owner is super friendly and likes to chat with customers which was a really welcome vibe (especially during Covid). Both pastries were melt in your mouth yummy and we have already been back for an encore visit to try some more of their fresh baked goods...we were not...
