My only experience with this company was a complete headache and I will never use their "service" again. First, they had me pay for the service in advance, before even receiving it (come to find out later, the employee should not have done so). After a week, they finally "found" the part they needed. I took my computer back in so that they could install the part. I took my computer home and half the keys no longer worked. I took my computer BACK in, waited a half hour while they tried to fix it, then was told they would have to once again replace the part they'd just replaced and it would take another week to receive it. I made the horrendous mistake of allowing them to keep my computer during that next week, since it was unusable. They gave me a loaner. Once again, after the second week was up, I had to call them to remind them that they still had my computer and I desperately needed it back. The owner informed me that "somehow the lid got scratched while it was sitting in the basket here." I asked how that happened. He lamely said that metal computers can get scratched by having a charger rub up against them. That's BS anyway, but especially when the scratches are as significant as the ones on the lid of my computer. He told me that he'd "found a part on Ebay" to replace the scratched lid with, "but it looks dented". He refunded me the $65 service fee. That hardly made up for the complete hassle I went through with this company. Two weeks without the use of my daily-used computer and ultimately brought it back in worse shape than it went in. I will not return to this business and will be recommending that other people...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place, I had high hopes that this place would fix my laptop and I would leave a happy customer. I had brought my Gaming Laptop in to get the fan fixed because it was making the most annoying noise. The staff was very friendly and reasonably priced somewhat. I had to wait maybe a week or week and a half for the new fan to be delivered. I got a call from the owner saying they had put the new guy on my laptop, the monitor was no longer capable of working and told me that they had to order another part. I was kind of annoyed that they did that to begin with why would you ever put a new coworker on a $1,000 piece of equipment. A few days later I had gotten another call but this time from the manager. He had asked me if the owner told me what had happened to my Laptop and that they had to order a completely different Laptop because the new guy had fried a part for the monitor. I responded no he only told me that the part was being replaced. The manager was honest with me while the owner wasn't. So I asked the owner for my original laptop back and told me no because he needed to make a prophet off of this somehow because the laptop they had bought from E - Bay was $300 or $400 I don't entirely remember. So I had to wait another week for the new laptop to come in same model and everything. They finally got it and put the fans they ordered in the new laptop. After all of this, THEY still charged me the same amount not, 25% or 50% off. I went in with a broken fan, went out with a laptop that wasn't even mine. I unfortunately can't recommend this place for anyone. If I could rate this place half a...
Read moreI have used PCS and parts for over 5 years. They have repaired desktop and laptop pcs for me, I have purchased used pcs for family from them as well as monitors.
I recently had a pair of Bose wireless noise cancelling headphones that were over 5 years old and the ear pads had worn out and fallen off. (Bose Sound link headphones) no longer supported by BOSE. Ordered replacement ear pads from Bose and that when the real fun started. Per Bose and YouTube videos should be able to replace simply in less than 5 minutes. I spent over 2 hours trying to get the new ear pads on with zero success. My wife tried for over an hour with zero success. Took them to U break it and they could not get them on. Took them to cellphone CPR in FTC and they could not get them on. Took them to Best Buy where to guys in audio dept. tried for over an hour and could not get them on. Took them to Geek Squad who tried for over 45 minutes with no success.
As a last resort decided to stop by pcs and parts as my last hope. Rod and his techs were able to get the new ear pads on and now my headphones are like new. I'm so glad I stopped by pcs and parts and highly recommend Rod and his techs for fixing my old headphones at a very reasonable price. Thanks...
