Edit: George has resolved the situation for us. 5/5
THIS STORE MISTAKENLY CALLED THE POLICE ON US AND DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGIZE
Last night, dressed in large animal pajamas, we attempted to order some food at the McDonald’s drive-thru. After an incredibly long wait at the payment window (5-10 minutes,) we called the store asking why they weren’t serving us.
She apologized for the wait, and offered us free ice cream. Seconds later we were swarmed by two police cruisers, guns at the ready, with a third parked around the exit.
Being law abiding citizens, neither I, nor my partner had ever had loaded guns pointed at us before. It was a scary experience.
I guess the McDonald’s employee thought we were trying to rob them disguised as animals. After explaining to the police what happened, and the police laughing, we went through the drive-thru again.
Still a bit jarred from the experience, and trying to not let this mix up ruin our night, we went back through with a positive attitude....only to get verbally abused by the cashier.
In a rude tone, she said she would not provide the free $0.98 ice cream we were promised. She didn’t apologize for the mix up, and had no compassion for the scary situation she put us in.
Mistakes happen, it’s part of life, but when they do, a positive & apologetic attitude is necessary. And we did not get that.
I feel we are owed an apology from the cashier, as well as the manager for handling the situation incorrectly.
We will be following up with corporate, and not visiting this location until this issue is resolved.
P.S. We later went to Wendy’s. They liked our animal costumes, we made...
Read moreThe McDonald's is the worst place I've ever been to. And I'm not the only one who says this. They're always busy and I totally understand that. But 95% of the time I'm missing something, extremely cold fries, never get the same taste of iced coffee, always forgetting dipping sauce. Tonight I go there and as always I have to move up to a parking area so they can finish my order with"" fresh food "" .NOT!!! After 15 minutes I went in and they haven't even started my order and nothing was fresh about it. Not one person even acknowledged me. I had to interrupt what they were doing. Another customer that was in the lobby I happen to know was telling me that they gave her order to someone else. Customer service needs to improve starting with the management team. They need to make sure the customer doesn't have to get back in their car to go get the rest of their order. Now I've learned to make sure that I check my other before I leave but sometimes I forget to check if the dipping sauce is in the bag or how many burgers I ordered. Some days are hectic and it would be nice to not have to worry about having everything you wanted when you got home. One other thing is when the person running the drive thru should ALWAYS know that everything is in the bag when asked by a customer. At this location when you ask is everything in the bag. Their response is I don't know, or should be, I think so. I only go there because my grandkids like to eat there. If it wasn't for my grandkids I would never torture myself by...

First off, since I had to call them to find the drive thru hours, I'll just post them here so you don't have to: S-W: 0500hrs - 0100hrs Th-Sat: 24hrs I am uncertain of the dining room hours, but I believe it closes at 2200hrs. Don't quote me on that.
Some specifics: I live fairly close to this location and have been several times. Personally, I have never gotten an incorrect order. In fact, their disorganization has actually led to my receiving an extra order of fries on one occasion, but I would not be surprised if I receive something other than what I ordered next time.
Bought a Shamrock Shake there once. Not sure how they are supposed to taste, as that was actually the first time I'd tried one, but it tasted as though they'd put WAY too much flavor syrup into it. Like eating toothpaste.
Had the filet-o'-fish there a couple times. Both times, the texture was sort of off. Like they had made the sandwich two days ago, stuck it in the fridge uncovered, and microwaved it before serving it to me. Taste wasn't bad or anything, just sort of... crusty.
Once when going there, the card machine was out, or so I gathered from the barely-passable English spoken by the cashier.
No other specific events come to mind, but I have definitely lived near and frequented locations that were much more consistent about service, quality, and organization. At this location, these events occurred within less than a...
