I’m usually not one to voice a complaint in a review, but we’ve brought it to the staff’s attention twice now and have gotten nothing but pushback in return. The açaí bowls are delicious every time we’ve ordered them. However, this establishment has minimal regard or consideration for food allergies. My family member has a serious gluten allergy, and we’ve specified gluten free granola for her bowl every time we’ve ordered, whereas the rest of us order it with regular granola. Twice now we’ve received our order with identical bowls, and no indication on the packaging as to which bowl is gluten free. Both times we’ve asked the staff which one is gluten free (the first time we had to call because we had already left), to which the staff member says “oh you should be able to tell by looking at the granola.” I don’t work with granola every day, and I doubt the average customer can tell the difference, especially when the granola is mixed in a bowl and covered with fruit. The second time that we received bowls where none were labeled, the same employee working said “next time you should request that the gluten free one be labeled.” WHAT? I don’t understand how hard it is to label a package “gluten free,” especially when it involves the health of your customers. I’ve worked in restaurants and we’ve ALWAYS taken every necessary precaution when handling food allergies, including labeling the allergy-free item on the takeout box. Of the 3 times we’ve ordered multiple bowls with one gluten free bowl, only once was the gluten free bowl labeled. So, clearly someone is doing it correctly, but the rest of the staff has not gotten the memo. We try to be patient and understanding, but when our concern is met with condescension by the staff, it’s incredibly frustrating. It makes it very difficult to want to continue to support this local, female-owned business that we’ve otherwise had great experiences with.

Pleasant surprise. Will definitely be returning. *Update* So, this was my first time having an Acai bowl ever. I really didn't have anything else to compare it to. Having enjoyed it so much ordering from here, I made the mistake of ordering from somewhere else hoping for the same result I got at the Juice Pod. I was very disappointed to say the least. But, it gave me more to review. You can tell all of the ingredients are super fresh at the juice Pod. You can literally taste the difference down to the honey that's used. The consistency of the Acai is greatly appreciated. The competitor's was runny, and it gave more if a smoothie vibe. I will absolutely be returning and I will never cheat again!

I absolutely LOVE The Juice Pod! The vibe is trendy and fun, staff is super helpful and the food and drinks are amazing! This is the perfect spot for a refreshing frozen treat or a healthy quick bite. Everything looks/tastes fresh and delicious! I’d recommend the Nutter Butter smoothie, or the Beachy Pitaya Bowl :) Juice Pod always makes my day.

Unfortunately this was my first and probably my last time visiting this establishment. I arrived at the store to order takeout. The staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I first entered I thought maybe the store was approaching closing times due staff demeaned, no crowds, and I seemed to be in the way of mopping the floors. I decided to google search operating hours as I would not want to be a rude customer ordering right at closing. Upon searching, the store had 45 minutes before closing so it seemed to be plenty of time. I order a panini and smoothie bowl. My smoothie bowl came out relatively quickly. There was a 20+ minute timeframe between my smoothie bowl coming out and the panini. I would be much more understanding if wait time was increased due to the establishment being busy or even under staffed. However, I was the only customer in the store ordering for the entire duration. 3 staff members were behind the counter chatting and eating smoothie bowls while I waited for my full order. I also had to package/bag my own order as the staff relaxed behind the counter. Due to the extreme difference between my items coming out, my smoothie bowl was basically soup by the time my panini was ready. I was picking up takeout to bring on the go and probably would have had time to eat my bowl had I known the wait was going to be so long. My bowl was also missing the peanut butter topping that was supposed to come with the pink berry bowl. Additional, the base of the pitaya bowl was way too sweet. I ended up throwing out the bowl because it was way too sweet. I frequently enjoy similar smoothie bowls at other establishments so I don’t think it was my palate. Although requiring a long wait, the panini was the better part of the meal however it was subpar at best. Overall, the experience, customer service, and quality of food was by far not worth what I paid for in addition to tipping. After my experience I am not at all shocked I was the only patron of the store this evening. I do not reccomend this establishment and will not...

Hi, I’m a delivery driver and customer of the Juice Pod, and let me say Danielle’s (owner) new place is a breath of fresh air, her old place was bomb too, she has this beach/summer vibe going on and its amazing really you should stop by, it matches the menu, my favorite item is the Good Vibes smoothie, its a strawberry banana smoothie with a twist, apple juice is the base & it comes with açaí, perfect just like that, I like to get fancy tho and add spinach and vanilla whey, honestly I dont think you can mess this up with whatever you like to add, just dont change core ingredients. Service is great, she’s present and on point with her customers and delivery drivers, most businesses won’t even acknowledge us delivery drivers let alone treat us like customers as well, you know like humans, we’re really like robots to them, but not my Danielle, she’s so engaging that if she sees your face more than once she’ll talk to you and learn your name and make sure your set to go. Sure it gets busy and wait times might be extended but what popping busy dont?? As long as you’re acknowledged, chill, have a seat and take in the vibes. I love it here, and you will too,...
