Rollin' Smoke Cigar Lounge — Restaurant in Lubbock

Visited this bar and was a bit confusing. It’s not a lounge really except for the jazz music playing. I can tell they’re trying to make it look good but not there just yet. It’s more of a dive bar feel with video games, not your typical cigar lounge. We were told it’s not a cigar lounge but they hold enough boxes of cigars to be called one. I definitely wouldn’t call this place a lounge with oversized booths. Cigar lounges generally have small tables, couches, leather chairs, and cigar memorabilia on the walls. It’s really a confusing feel and location. For NOT wanting to be called a cigar lounge, they do want to bring in cigar rollers which is again not a thing for bars looking like this with the interior it has. Also, lighting your cigars with matches made it even more uncomfortable when you’re burning your fingers to try and light it. Everyone needs lighters but just so you know, you need to bring your own or you’re going to burn your cigar instead of toasting it. It becomes a mess and your cigar will canoe. The air conditioner kept blowing the matches out. The drinks? Terrible. We were given limes instead of the traditional lemon for Chiltons. We couldn’t finish them. They had an odd flavor. The tables and booths were dirtied with old ash and none cleaned off. The bartender later came by and apologized for the booths being dirty but we never saw her again after that. She claimed she was terribly busy but it wasn’t at all busy. The airflow blew the smoke into our faces. We didn’t finish our cigars and drinks and left. As far as the place not having enough cigars, it’s not tariffs according to another reviewer. Many lounges have plenty of cigars without bad prices or low counts. The owner told me it’s because they aren’t a cigar lounge though it’s in the name? I can’t really tell what this place is. Looks like a regular bar but plays jazz, has cigars but not considered a cigar lounge. It has an identity issue but hopefully they figure out...
