Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory — Restaurant in Lubbock

I went today about 1:30. The girl at the window was rude. No thank you or anything, sour look on her face the whole time. She gave me my card back and then just shut the window and turned her back. When she turned around and saw I needed something she opened the window but never said a word. I asked for the receipt and she acted like it irritated her. Still didn't say a word. Just shut the window and turned her back again. If that wasn't enough, got home and was looking forward to my lunch and what a disappointment. I got the 3 enchilada dinner. The rice and beans were good but it ended there. The beef enchilada was tough and tasteless. The chicken enchilada just tasted bad, no other words to describe it. The cheese enchilada was tough. What a waste of time and money. Will not go back. Much better places in Lubbock...

I was very surprised at the unique restaurant style at Rosa's. This was my first time eating at this food chain, and I would probably recommend trying it if you like homestyle Mexican food. The prices are typical for a locally-owned Mexican restaurant, but the food is made as quick as fast food, but still tastes really good (especially the tortillas). The only thing I didn't really like was that the faster service means that the food is sometimes lower quality (for example, i got the burrito plate, which was a rather simple burrito of just beef and tortillas. It tasted great, it was just kind of simple for my taste). Really I would rate this a 9/10 if I could, just because the slightly high prices and slightly lower quality food really doesn't make that much of a difference when comparing to the overall speed, taste...

Rude manager! Gave wrong order in drive through told us we were liars when we brought all food inside! What is the point of a drive through if I have to go inside EVERY TIME from wrong order at this location! Then Carmen the manager will tell you you’re wrong even when she is holding the wrong food that clearly doesn’t match the receipt, slam your food down, roll her eyes and walk away from you. I’ve NEVER been treated so rudely ever in all my years living in Texas. I’m super upset that someone who does this is a manager and from what other employees told us this happens a LOT with this manager! Not good business!
