Manager, Patti, is incredibly racist and is always talking horribly behind her workers backs, who are 99% of the time high school kids. When you tell her someone wants an application, she will ask if they were black. She will always watch you from the cameras on her phone when she is away from work, and text you when she thinks you are doing wrong. Even if you're doing your job correctly, she will always find a way to complain- especially if you're her best worker.
I have never missed a day working here, except for once when I was bedridden sick. Came to work the next day, and she ignored me the whole day other than the times she had to communicate with me, she gave me a snobby attitude. That's what you get when you're a reliable worker, she expects you to be an obsessive workaholic like she is! But does she ever do work? No. She sits in the back on her phone the whole day and orders food delivery. Half of the time she will order food and send one of the high school girls to go pick up her food for her, while they're still clocked in.
I have worked there twice, and have quit twice, for the same reason of being treated horribly and unfair. Both times I've worked there I was treated as the manager, while getting paid under $10/hr.
And again, she is incredibly racist. She gets visibly upset, scoffs, raises her voice, and throws things around when a customer is struggling with English yet doing their best to explain what they want. When they leave, she will complain to you that "they shouldn't be here if they can't speak English." She always gets fussy and throws tantrums like a toddler, and has a reputation for it.
On the day of the second time that I quit, I called the owner, Taylor, and expressed to him all of my problems with Patti, the manager, and told him that I am quitting. I expressed her racism, her always treating work like a therapy session, her sitting at her desk the whole shift and ordering delivery food, and the ugly ways that she has always treated me. And don't forget the times she texts her workers to clock her in for her when she isn't even at work yet.
You know the first thing the owner responded to me with after expressing all of this? "Is this because you couldn't get your shift covered?" I thought I respected him more than Patti, but it seems they are both horrible, unprofessional people to be in the workforce with.

Read moreI am so disappointed today me and my husband went to get a sweet treat after the movies around 7 something and they only had 2 workers. My husband works as a teacher at a school and knew one of the girls and asked her if it was only them two to which she replied yes sir. I was beyond mad because they had so many people in their lobby. They had a whole volley team of more than 15 girls and serval adults plus family of us to 6 each and other senior citizens waiting on ice cream. And the poor girl also had drive through to worry about. Bless them they were trying so hard to keep up and serve us all with grace and patience which is hard to do when overwhelmed. I took the liberty to ask them where their manager was at they said she got off at 5 so which then asked do you’ll have an assistant manager and they relied yes ma’am we do but she got off at 5 o’clock. Which is that both manager and assistant manager work the same shift and leave two people alone on a Friday night you would think they would have more workers. My family member waiting in the lobby and tipped them they also overheard the two young girl say sorry for the wait were short staff two which my niece asked why. Apparently the 3rd person was sick which is not her fault and couldn’t and (shouldn’t) be working had to call in. But the fact that neither the manager or assistant manager covered the shift is sad. What are they there for then they’re supposed to manage and be there for their employees which apparently they aren’t. Marble slab. Read moreI just went yesterday and had a great experience. I saw the review pasted last and was almost afraid to go but so glad I did. I too work with teenagers and yound adults and In today's world while working with them becomes so aggravating because they don't have the mentality of it takes everyone to make a great work environment. Hard work, accountability, dedication and pride doesn't get instilled in these kids now days. We are with these people more than we are our families so there are gonna be some tiffs here and there. I would like to see the recordings as well because if the mold is there and you noticed it you should have cleaned it. If the milk is expired instead of videoing it you should have trashed. I went and throughly enjoyed it and my delicious ice cream. I will definitely be going back. As a manager myself I get so frustrated I may vent but most of the time it is not talking behind someone's back it is stuff I complain to them about as well.
