Upon my first walk-in, I noticed that they had quite a selection of older games and consoles, which I thought was great. So I paid several visits and bought several games, and fell right into their trap. About half of the games that I bought either didn't work at all or froze multiple times to the point where I had no choice but to return them. I've noticed several customers come in and return products for the same reason during my visits. Sure they give you back in-store credit for returns, but what good is that when the majority of their games and movies probably don't work either? Granted they're all used, but they should really offer cash back; then again, they'd probably go out of business if they did.
What's even worse is their awful customer service. Let me rephrase that, their LACK of customer service. The employees don't really engage with customers what-so-ever. Hell, I was practically ignored on my last visit; walked in and THREE of them were huddled around the schedule under the television just chatting away. I stood there on the other side of the counter for about a minute before I was even noticed. The guy that handled my return was clueless and ignorant. He gave me another disc of the game I was returning (surprise surprise, doesn't work either). Let's just say I will not be doing any business here ever again. I'd rather try my luck finding older...
Read moreThere were two employees at least I'm assuming there were two in the place. One was digging through games on a bottom shelf yelling about the games not being alphabetized, very unprofessional behavior. The second was behind the counter. She was “helping” someone else when I walked in. I waited 15 min to talk to employee about selling them a game. During that time I was never acknowledged or told they would be with me shortly. When I was “served”… if you can call it that. It seemed a terrible inconvenience to the girl that I had come in. When she quoted me the price I told her that I had been quoted a slightly higher price at the Game Stop over the phone. Blank stares and angry eyes followed. After a minute she petulantly asked me if I wanted to “take the money or not?” in a tone that implied that I was wasting her valuable time. I took my game and left for Game Stop.
My recommendation…Avoid this place like the plague! DO NOT EVER deal with these people. I honestly have no clue how they keep...
Read moreI'm usually fairly pleased with all game exchange locations. However this time was a let-down. My wife was trying to purchase a game. The sales clerk was trying to find the game and I guess he could not find it. So he try to surreptitiously stick the wrong game in the case where she could not see. My wife having a Keen eye because she works in law enforcement saw him trying to be sneaky and give her the wrong game and had to call him out on it so he would search with due diligence and find the correct game. Honestly we probably should have tried to reported to his boss but having worked retail ourselves and knowing how frustrating some days can be we let it go. However we would like to let everyone know to make sure you check that you're getting the right game in your case or that they are charging you correctly because we don't know how often this employee is is trying to do this sort of thing and whether this sort of behaviour is particular to this particular employee or it's a...
