I don’t understand the good reviews? This was our experience: We walked in after seeing plenty of outdoor seating that looked nice on a back porch area. We were told to sit where we would like and we told them we would like to sit outside, and the gentleman at the front counter said to order at the counter first, while another person said that it’s okay, go sit outside and we will have someone there to help you with your order. A little confusion amongst employees there but that’s okay! Waitress was polite as well. We were asked what we would like to drink and we ordered 1 soda, 1 Thai tea and also asked for 2 waters. Waitress came back with 1 canned soda, 1 Thai tea (which was delicious) and 2 bottles of water glasses of water, which costed us extra. Unnecessary upsell, watch out for this. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, extra spicy. It was the second worst Pad Thai we’ve collectively tried (we’ve tried a lot), and I understand that some Pad Thai is made with ketchup however it was barely spicy and the ketchup flavor overpowered the entire dish. Tasted like pad Thai noodles mixed in spicy ketchup with scallions and peanuts on top. No bean sprouts? No egg?! And carrots added but sliced extremely long with some type of wavy vegetable cutter to speed up the cutting process? I just don’t get it. Additionally we ordered the Boom Boom Dynamite chicken. Even more disappointing than the Pad Thai, it tasted like American boneless chicken pieces that have been sitting under a lamp at 7/11 for hours. The sauce was good but the chicken was so bad it was impossible to enjoy. The scallions were fresh though. We checked out at the front counter. The female employee was pleasant, and asked us how are food was. I told her it was surprisingly bad despite all the good reviews. She apologized stating that different restaurants prepare the Pad Thai in many different ways and asked “the boom boom chicken was good though, right”? No, even worse, it was old and tasted like chicken that has been outback under a warmer for hours. Was not made into a happy customer on the way out the door, no offer of price reduction or discount on return to the restaurant. From the up charges with the water to the terrible food, I will not recommend this place.

During our weekend stay in the charming town of Luray, VA, we sought a fresh and satisfying lunch experience. After perusing reviews, we decided on Asian Station, located on Main Street with convenient roadside parking. The restaurant had limited indoor seating, but there were ample well-decorated outdoor seating options. Our order included potstickers, spicy Thai basil with chicken, sushi, and crispy chicken with rice. Main courses came with a palate cleansing soup. Each dish was a delightful hit, showcasing a fusion of flavors that left us thoroughly satisfied. The warm and inviting ambiance was enhanced by the cordial and courteous service provided by the ladies working in the shop. Overall, Asian Station proved to be a fantastic choice for a delectable meal in Luray, offering not only delicious cuisine but also a welcoming atmosphere that added to the overall dining experience.

Our expectations of the food were very high due to the good reviews, but we were disappointed. Ordered cream cheese wonton, Philadelphia roll, orange chicken, chicken Katsu Japanese curry, and green Thai curry. I am a big Asian food lover. This food was not good. The Philadelphia roll tasted bland and had too much rice, the wonton wrap tasted off, and the green Thai curry was too salty. The orange chicken and Japanese curry were just ok. I thought it odd that the curry was served in cardboard takeaway containers instead of using bowls and silverware. Though to their credit, it was east to take leftovers home. They do not serve you drinks, you get drinks from the fridge. The ambience is nice inside, but the inside space is very tight. When someone opens the door, you immediate hit the back of someone's chair. Service was adequate.

Never coming back again ! One of the worst restaurant experience interms of foods, price & services.

I was also surprised to see the 4.7 stars. Went there twice, first was pickup and it was jusy okay. Amount portion is less than most restaurant.

Went there few days ago hoping they improved, Inside was not clean & AC was not working. Charged us 20% gratuity & they did serve on Plastic Boxes and Cutlerys were also plastic. We got the Drinks from the fridge ourself, got the food from the counter So what was the gratuity charged for?? No plates/bowls Or silverware.

Its not even a proper restaurant setup that charges for Service. When the door opened it hits the customer sitting nearby - very tight space.

Food portion was less as usual and was not good at all. Barely was any Basil flavor from the Basil fried rice. Charged us $3.30 for a Can of Soda !! Minute maid lemondae Can is $4 !! I didn’t have courage to ask for other drinks.

Food price overall also overpriced for the portion. Egg fried rice was flavorless & smelled like lots of fish sauce. Rice - also was overcooked. Overall bad bad experience, we were hungry so didn’t have much options.

I guess when they know they are the only restaurant in town that serves Thai, they can do the monopoly. They tried to go as cheap as they could to run this business. Definitely looking for some other food options when in Luray and recommending friends not to go here.

Authorities - Please stop charging customers for the gratuity if you intend to keep “serving” customers like this. Also, improving food quality & portions can...

Asian Station seems to be doing a fantastic job in providing a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. One of the standout aspects mentioned consistently by customers is the exceptional service provided by the staff. They are often praised for their attentiveness, friendliness, and efficiency, which significantly enhances the overall dining experience.

The cleanliness of the restaurant is another highlight. It appears that the management and staff at Asian Station place a high priority on maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. This attention to detail in cleanliness is particularly commendable and contributes to a pleasant atmosphere for diners.

Regarding the space, while it's noted that the restaurant might be a bit cozy for larger groups, they seem to manage this challenge well. Customers have appreciated the efforts made by the restaurant to accommodate big parties despite the spatial constraints. This adaptability and willingness to ensure customer satisfaction, even in less-than-ideal conditions, speak volumes about their commitment to service.

In summary, Asian Station seems to excel in customer service and maintaining a clean environment. Although the space might be a bit limited for large groups, the staff's efforts to accommodate and ensure a pleasant dining experience do not go unnoticed. It sounds like a great place for both small and larger gatherings, where the quality of service and cleanliness are...
