Wear a diaper if you visit....My family was killing some time on a weekday and decided to purchase gifts for loved ones while waiting for a reservation. We walked in and began selecting our purchases when my young daughter asked to use the restroom (#1). We were the only customers in the building when my wife with my daughter asked the lady at the counter where the restroom was. We were pretty clear it was for our little girl when the lady behind the counter stated "there was no public restroom, but if she walked two buildings down" (the Luray visitor center) probably 200+ yards down the road with NO SIDEWALK available. I was across the room observing this when my wife very politely said "OK Thank You" and started heading across the parking lot. I was very annoyed with the way this played out and instead of getting confrontational I decided to place all of the items we planned to purchase back in their original spots and leave the building. I totally understand the bathroom issue especially on busy weekends etc, but this was unnecessary to say the least. It was a very disappointing interaction despite awesome hospitality at the other...
Read moreI was out and about for the day and just wanted to do a little browsing. I love cast iron figurines and door stops. I found three while in this wonderful shop! I also found a beautiful walking stick which will come in handy for days when I take strolls around town. My favorite item, that I must return for, is a table lamp made from an antique air compressor. I must purchase that for my oldest son to keep in his farmhouse. What a lovely shop and such a welcoming and helpful gentleman at the front desk to assist the shoppers! Looks like I have found a place to buy Christmas presents this...

Wonderful place to find the perfect gift for that someone special. Hint- if you see it and like it PICK IT UP RIGHT AWAY.
