Having grown up in Mexico as an American, I know the food here is on point. This is not the Tex-Mex junk you find at other so-called Mexican restaurants in town. This is the real deal -- especially the varieties of street tacos. Tortillas made in-house are also a plus. The street corn is authentic & flavorful, and one that you cannot find anywhere else. The other main entrees are worth trying as well. The salsa bar is unmatched by any other true Mexican restaurant. Other restaurants are so americanized they're a joke calling themselves Mexican, because they are more Tex-Mex. This is The Place to get authentic Mexican street food. Don't waste your time and money at the other places-- Tacos Way is hands down the Best. For other reviews on here that post that you don't get very much food for your money, they are obviously either super greedy or don't know that Mexican restaurants are notorious for giving you generous portions. That should be obvious enough that those reviewers are not being honest in their reviews and most likely are being vindictive for some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll start off with the only good thing. The rice was great in my burrito. Chicken was over cooked. No option for cheese and smothered in onions. Criminal though that I just paid $20 for a burrito and fries. Now I knew ordering fries at a Mexican place wasnāt gonna be crazy good. How ever I didnāt expect to find hair in my fries 3 different times. There were plenty of staff but they were watching me like was trying to rob the place. I sat at the bar with no one else there and they kept cleaning the bar that was already clean while looking over my shoulder the entire time. I didnāt complain once or make any bad facial expressions while in there yet it felt like they were trying to make me feel uncomfortable and leave. Picture of one of the hairs I found underneath. To sum it up. Over priced poor quality food with terrible customer service. Do your self a favor and go to any other Mexican restaurant in bay county. Never...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is OK, but you definitely have to check your order before you leave if you get take out. I've yet to have an order received correctly. You have to repeat yourself several times before you can get your order placed and they still get it wrong. Just had someone bring me something I didn't order and when he brought the correct food, he asked me to go up front and pay the difference. I order the same thing every time and had to repeat myself 3 times and still got it wrong. Was super rude, probably because I wasn't going to back down. Already spent $40 on 4 tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips/ queso, 2 drinks and left a tip. No receipt to prove what i ordered, of course. For the money, you're better going to Rancheros or El Jalisco... food and service are way better, and...
