We went to Wendy’s drive thru to get our usual 2 large chocolate Frosties for seniors. Young woman at the window said $5.77 and we asked if there’s been an increase in price as we were paying $4.49 for two. I gave her $6 ( 5 & 1 dollar bills) and received 0.23 change. Then I’ve noticed only one senior discount of $1.19 was applied and my husband asked the young woman why not 2 discounts when we’re both seniors?? She stared at us and kept saying with an attitude, I gave you a discount and refused to understand we were asking about the second discount. We asked for a manager and witnessed the young woman busy telling her side of the story to a manager. Manager showed up then without even asking our side of the story stated I can give you your money back if that’s what you want? When we explained to a manager what’s going on she stated that some employees are more lenient when it comes to bending the rules while others are not. This so called manager lacked the customer service or resolution skills. We got so upset over the stupid incident we gave back the Frosties and 0.23 cents (change from my $6) asked for our money back. A few minutes went by while the manager tried to figure out how to give our money back. She came back offering $5.77 and we told her it should be $6 as we’d given back 0.23. Again she comes back with $1 saying here’s your money and we told her that she’s short by $5, it took her few more minutes to finally figure out how to give our original $6 to us. It’s no wonder the team members are so poorly prepared under such so called manager. We’ll never go back to this Wendy’s or perhaps no Wendy’s at all going forward. In the end we gave back the Frosties and will never visit Wendy’s again. It was embarrassing and demeaning as customers...
Read moreIt is funny that the owner of this Wendys on their owner response directs you to download the Wendys App even though everytime including today when I went there they claim that their system never works. This Wendys doesn't follow the App or claims its never working so don't waste your time, I went to a more reputable restaurant afterwards that is not shady.
The night manager has to have the rudest I don't care attitude, even furnishing snide comments! Not professional to be mocking customers after they pull away, definitely not a good example for the other employees. Seems like you would want your management with a smile and putting forth as much effort to keep customers happy. Manager gave ZERO help would not offer me any information to a number I could call when I asked for one. The other employee seem great, but the night manager on shift on 3/15/24 at 9PM, she must hate her job?
There are many options when it comes to where to dine... this one will have to clean up its act and quit false advertising, some of us don't have a choice to go but late at night and we don't deserve such ridiculousness... they used to have a lady that worked nights who was the manager (I assuming she worked like crazy) who was always great and now for about last 9 months this new person is awful and it is going to effect your bottom line I promise you.
BOTTOM LINE: Don't visit Wendy's in Lynn Haven Hwy77 !!!
Looks as if the owner does not care about their business seeing other people's responses to issues are all unanswered.

Only recently, like since 5/18, I have only negative experiences with them and I have recently interacted with someone who introduced herself as the general manager. I communicated to her my recent unsatisfactory experiences that I have been having and she assured me I would be taken care of when I ordered. She was present when I made my order and in no way did she personally ensure the issue I had with them would not happen again. It happened again and I called corporate Because I was fully convinced this Wendy’s was being managed by someone who is incompetent. The person I talked to fully agreed with me. So, that sums it up, about this Wendy’s. They have messed 100% of my orders these past 5 months and the G.M. isn’t worth the time to confide to because of her lack of urgency and personal involvement in ensuring a customer’s problem is resolved. Bottom line is every order has been bad lately. I’d like to add, corporate said they would investigate into this matter and i would be hearing from anyone at the wendys from discussion or from corporate and I have not heard a word since. Here is my advice, don’t bother, save your time and your money. What a burger is across the street open 24 hrs and has never ever messed up my order. There’s Burger King, McDonald’s, and way back burgers near by that will serve you better. Also the Sonics near has a new deal on...
