Update 05/2024 - I am not sure what changed here but the last two times we have visited, the service was slow and the food was not great. I am not adjusting my ratings yet because I am hopeful this is something unusal for them. This last time, we brought out of town relatives and were so embarrassed by the quality of food given how much we raved about it and the service.

Update 02/2023 - Jonna’s has become a fav place to go. Food excellent, staff great (shout out to Melissa and Kathy).

Update 12/2022 - watches the lions game, enjoyed drink specials and good food. tomato bisque soup was meh, would not get it again but Caesar Salad and Fattoush Salads were yummy.

Update 10/2022 - boneless chicken wings are outstanding and super moist. Friend said Nachos were meh, wouldn’t order them again and quesadilla steak quesadilla is fantastic.

Update 08/2022 - I don’t know why it is been so long since we have been back. Had the Chicken Caesar Salad which was delish! Service was great.

Smaller than we expected inside but really clean and fully stocked bar. They have daily specials and their pricing was reasonable. I had a Turkey Melt (forgot to take a pic) and fries. The fries looked and tasted like McDonald's- yum! The burger could have used more seasoning but was cooked perfectly. Husband had The Works pizza (remembered to take a pic after he was two slices in) - a bit undercooked but probably because it was loaded with toppings. We sat at the bar (no tables available) and Melissa waited on us - she was great - super nice and sweet. We will be...

So I decided to stop with my wife for lunch. Sat at the bar. At 12:20 pm. Only to be completely ignored by the blonde bartender , that had seen us walk in, sat next to the service stand, with the Pabst blue ribbon sign a bit to the left. She was talking to the person to the right of us. Pouring him a soda from the servers stand and walked right past us again. She never even acknowledged us. Wrong move sister. No one ignores my wife or myself and expects me to stay in a establishment that can't recognize a customer, by saying Hello, or I'll be right with you. Or kiss my ass ,Something! I waited another minute still nothing and we both walked out. What a shame in this day and age with place's struggling for a customer base, especially in the restaurant business. Went across the street to the New Hudson Inn. And was greeted promptly. With a smile, quick service on our drinks. Also our server was Friendly and awesome. The food came out piping hot and delicious. We told her that we had never visited this restaurant and would be back with our friends and neighbors. Had an enjoyable time and would most definitely return. Long story short no regrets for your loss. My money spends very well on establishments that really appreciate there customers. Shame, shame, on the GM that runs this restaurant. Obviously has not taught his or her employees the value of a customer. Well now I figured out why the employees are the way they are, seems that the owners and managers could care...

Today was my 3rd time visiting this place. Tried their pizza for the first time. The pizza itself is pretty good. But, I ordered the Margherita... and as someone else mentioned, mine arrived without ANY basil whatsoever, which in a pizza that is normally only 3 ingredients besides the dough, is a big deal. I had wondered why they put spinache on their version as well, and I think I know why now. Spinache is a fraction of the cost of fresh basil, but they look similiar when cooked. I managed a pizza shop for a few years, and I know my ingredients. This pizza is supposed to have a tomato basil sauce as well, but there is absolutely zero taste or even smell of basil. And for 13 dollars... I feel comfortable saying I feel like this place is a rip off. I also arrived 5 minutes earlier than it said my order would be ready, and it was already almost room temperature. If I go back here again, it will be for a salad or a burger, but.... because of the added expense and lack of consistency (we've placed group orders the other two times I ordered here, and the quality control appeared to be lacking.) i'd rather goto a Chilis or even a Coney Island. And for pizza... look.... Jets is across the street, and at LEAST just as good.... but WAY cheaper. Also, in my entire life, Jets has never gotten my order wrong. NOT ONCE. I'll throw some fresh basil on there myself with all the money I...

I’ve always enjoyed Jonna’s—great service and fresh, delicious food have kept me coming back over the years. I wish this was another positive review about their dine-in experience, but unfortunately, my recent carryout experience was disappointing. I ordered my food to be ready at 8:30, placing the order an hour ahead to accommodate some company I was expecting. I arrived at 8:29, but when I approached the carryout table, no one was around. Since my name was on the order, I took it and left. Right away, I noticed the boxes for the pizza and cheese bread were soggy and not even warm. By the time I got home, the hot food was cold, and worse yet, some of the hot items had been placed on my salad, making it slightly warm. It was clear the food had been prepared well ahead of time, disregarding the pickup time I requested. To top it off, I had tipped $5, expecting the service to match their usual standards. I’m disappointed that the carryout service didn’t live up to my past dine-in experiences at Jonna’s. I’m torn on my review, but I would caution others to think twice about tipping for carryout, especially if you're scheduling it ahead. The dine-in experience is excellent, but for carryout, it seems best to order only if you're picking it up right away.

Jonnas I am very disappointed! We have been here several times but normally around 4:30 and always pleased. Today was not good! Got there at 3:15. Now I understand why people say not to go to restaurants when its not busy. There were only a few people besides us. One server in the restaurant approached quickly but after we got food totally forgot about us. She was more concerned about figuring out and changing a table around for some of their regulars coming in. Then she sat down with them. I had to ask her to come back! I was told when i returned my lukewarm fries that it was shift change. We ordered another different drink and it never came for a while. I asked and was told female bartender was in the kitchen. When she was working she was more interested in chatting with guy at the bar. As far as the food...it was not what I expected in the worst way. I was told grilled cheese would have great gooey cheese on outside also. It was hard as a rock. Fries were not even lukewarm so asked to send them back. 1st drink was horrible! I did not want to complain about everything but it was all bad. 2nd server who started her shift as we were finishing was great! We hope she got some of our tip.
