Update 05/2024 - I am not sure what changed here but the last two times we have visited, the service was slow and the food was not great. I am not adjusting my ratings yet because I am hopeful this is something unusal for them. This last time, we brought out of town relatives and were so embarrassed by the quality of food given how much we raved about it and the service.
Update 02/2023 - Jonna’s has become a fav place to go. Food excellent, staff great (shout out to Melissa and Kathy).
Update 12/2022 - watches the lions game, enjoyed drink specials and good food. tomato bisque soup was meh, would not get it again but Caesar Salad and Fattoush Salads were yummy.
Update 10/2022 - boneless chicken wings are outstanding and super moist. Friend said Nachos were meh, wouldn’t order them again and quesadilla steak quesadilla is fantastic.
Update 08/2022 - I don’t know why it is been so long since we have been back. Had the Chicken Caesar Salad which was delish! Service was great.
Smaller than we expected inside but really clean and fully stocked bar. They have daily specials and their pricing was reasonable. I had a Turkey Melt (forgot to take a pic) and fries. The fries looked and tasted like McDonald's- yum! The burger could have used more seasoning but was cooked perfectly. Husband had The Works pizza (remembered to take a pic after he was two slices in) - a bit undercooked but probably because it was loaded with toppings. We sat at the bar (no tables available) and Melissa waited on us - she was great - super nice and sweet. We will be...
Read moreSo I decided to stop with my wife for lunch. Sat at the bar. At 12:20 pm. Only to be completely ignored by the blonde bartender , that had seen us walk in, sat next to the service stand, with the Pabst blue ribbon sign a bit to the left. She was talking to the person to the right of us. Pouring him a soda from the servers stand and walked right past us again. She never even acknowledged us. Wrong move sister. No one ignores my wife or myself and expects me to stay in a establishment that can't recognize a customer, by saying Hello, or I'll be right with you. Or kiss my ass ,Something! I waited another minute still nothing and we both walked out. What a shame in this day and age with place's struggling for a customer base, especially in the restaurant business. Went across the street to the New Hudson Inn. And was greeted promptly. With a smile, quick service on our drinks. Also our server was Friendly and awesome. The food came out piping hot and delicious. We told her that we had never visited this restaurant and would be back with our friends and neighbors. Had an enjoyable time and would most definitely return. Long story short no regrets for your loss. My money spends very well on establishments that really appreciate there customers. Shame, shame, on the GM that runs this restaurant. Obviously has not taught his or her employees the value of a customer. Well now I figured out why the employees are the way they are, seems that the owners and managers could care...
Read moreToday was my 3rd time visiting this place. Tried their pizza for the first time. The pizza itself is pretty good. But, I ordered the Margherita... and as someone else mentioned, mine arrived without ANY basil whatsoever, which in a pizza that is normally only 3 ingredients besides the dough, is a big deal. I had wondered why they put spinache on their version as well, and I think I know why now. Spinache is a fraction of the cost of fresh basil, but they look similiar when cooked. I managed a pizza shop for a few years, and I know my ingredients. This pizza is supposed to have a tomato basil sauce as well, but there is absolutely zero taste or even smell of basil. And for 13 dollars... I feel comfortable saying I feel like this place is a rip off. I also arrived 5 minutes earlier than it said my order would be ready, and it was already almost room temperature. If I go back here again, it will be for a salad or a burger, but.... because of the added expense and lack of consistency (we've placed group orders the other two times I ordered here, and the quality control appeared to be lacking.) i'd rather goto a Chilis or even a Coney Island. And for pizza... look.... Jets is across the street, and at LEAST just as good.... but WAY cheaper. Also, in my entire life, Jets has never gotten my order wrong. NOT ONCE. I'll throw some fresh basil on there myself with all the money I...
