I was treated horribly as a customer who orders delivery frequently at 7220 w 79th st bridgeview il 60455. I did my delivery uber eats order everything was there expect the sandwich for my meal, my daves double sandwich. I call the store since I worked all day me and my boyfriend just wanted our food after our long shifts I call to see if I can just please pick up my sandwich but the person the phone is interrupting me repeatedly saying it’s in the bag when I’m trying to tell her it’s not I just want my sandwich that’s it so I get hung up on. That was not fair to me at all so I go to the restaurant to try to resolve the issue, the lobby is closed so I go up to the window because I have no transportation I came in uber I go to the window try to get them to help me I point at my food that my boyfriend is holding and I tell them through the window I just called the store and got hung up on so I’m here, this African American girl is standing in the window starts laughing while a white girl with no hat on is laughing too probably the manager so she picks up the phone and says no don’t open the window I’m calling the police. Like what? After I even got hung up I tried calling the store again because you can’t just hang up one a customer like that that’s so unprofessional your job is to treat customers with respect. You rather call the police instead of trying to help the customers you hung up on when I’m already upset trying to get the sandwich you didn’t put in my bag? Like please just help us it’s so simple. It’s so confusing all I wanted was my sandwich after my 12 hour shift. The white lady calls the police tells the police they want me and my boyfriend banned they will not replace the food and wanted us to go when we just wanted help with our order. So unprofessional can’t believe they actually did all this to avoid helping us, I never EVER whitened something like this, I had before gone eat in that same restaurant dine in and had no problem. I came up there thinking they was going to help me if I showed them the sandwich wasn’t there but no they did not look at the bag did not look at the receipt just did not try to help us in general and I don’t understand why. Again I can’t believe they chose to kick us out and call the police instead of trying to help their customers. So unprofessional don’t know any other restaurant who would do that, any other restaurant is willing to make their customers happy but Wendy’s rather kick their customers out and make them upset I guess? Just so upsetting how this happened to me I loved Wendy’s after this situation I will never go back and see Wendy’s the same I just need those people to get in trouble because the way they treated me was so unfair and they need to know they are in the wrong. Read moreThis has been the absolute worst experience I've had in this establishment. It was always my go to place but after this experience I won't be back. All of the employees that worked tonight's shift should be fired. They clearly didn't care, were disrespectful and cheated us out of food we paid for. We had to go through the drive thru twice only for them to get the order WRONG TWICE
When we went through the drive thru the first time..we ordered 2 biggie bags plus an extra sandwich. For biggie bag 1 it was a bacon double stack with no pickles and BBQ sauce for the nuggets. For biggie bag 2 it was a chicken sandwich with no mayo and sour sauce for the nuggets. The extra sandwich was a crispy blt. When we received our order there was no extra sandwich, no sauces for the nuggets, I didn't receive my chicken sandwich, the double stack had pickles and we barely received any fries.
Went back to the drive thru, waited for a while because they were backed up orders and when it was our turn- Informed the workers that our order was wrong. He was rude, slammed our bag on the counter, redid our order and got it wrong AGAIN-no extra sandwich AGAIN, the chicken sandwichwas disgusting. At that point it was late, there was a line and we decided to just leave. So angry we spent over 30 mins just for them to get our order wrong twice. Read moreJust got the pub home style chicken sandwich as i have got it before and loved it, I got 2 bites in realized something wasn't right decided not to finish it, later that day got a headache and didn't feel right and ended up with salmonella poisoning writhing in bed for 3 days i do not recommend this location to anyone and honestly with everything going on your better off cooking at home because you can't trust people to handle your food correctly. Will boycott wendys entirely because of this, if you don't wanna do the job right then quit and stay out of the food industry its that simple because I know for fact they wouldn't serve uncooked poultry or food to themselves or anyone close to them.
