Ryba's Fudge Shop - Dennany Store — Restaurant in Mackinac Island

I always go out of my way to make sure I stop at this location next to the pink pony- yesterday was my last time there. My family and I will never return to Rybas ESPECIALLY this location. The light skinned female working the fudge side is extremely rude and I am so upset that we did not walk out while she was packing the fudge. She was rude, pushy, dry, rushed us, and didn’t give me any other samples there either “was none available” or she snapped back with “I’ve never tried that one” when I asked about a specific flavor. I visted Ryba’s after taste testing multiple fudge samples from other fudge shops on the island. My intention was to purchase 6 lbs of various types of fudge. First and foremost, vanilla and pecan fudge which I couldn’t find anywhere else. Also several other types of fudge for family members. The tase wasn’t as sweet as several others (good), and the varieties all tasted better than any other fudge on the island. Extremely disappointed with this fudge. It tasted cheap and artificial and it was not much cheaper than the rest in that area. The first 4 ingredients listed were sugar, corn syrup, powdered cream and hydrogenated vegetable oil. Don’t be fooled, this is not real quality fudge at all.

I’m now adding photos of the box we were given with our fudge to show that there is, in fact, an ingredient list on it… and there is no butter or cream...
