Growler Spot — Restaurant in Macon

While we were in Macon evacuating Hurricane Irma, we spent some time visiting all of the local beer places. They have some breweries in the area, but we really enjoyed our multiple visits to Growler Spot. The place has a great selection of beers on tap, sell single bottles both warm and cold, and the staff is incredible. It felt like home. We visited a couple of times and really enjoyed the other locals, and a few other evacuees, that we met while sitting at the bar.

Really upset, this place came highly recommended from a friend. But when i went, they barely had any beer on the shelves and barely any dark beer on taps during the winter !! A little more pricy than other places, probably because they have no beer. No food. However, GREAT staff very knowledgeable!! I'll go back back just for the staff before i go anywhere...

I go at least once a week. It is right down the road from where I live. Chuck (and Kyle) are both gracious and knowledgeable about each beer that steps into the storefront.
