Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Macon

I’ve been visiting this location for a year and it’s usually very good. Previously, from the service to the quality of the food I was satisfied. My recent visit was abhorrent. I ordered a veggie sandwich without vinegar, mayo and oil with chips through the website for delivery. My sandwich was soggy, vegetables seemed old and the bread was not baked. I called and requested a refund and I was told to return the sandwich. I came via an Uber to have the issue resolved. The manager did not take accountability and was very rude. I requested a refund for my entire meal including the delivery fee because if my sandwich was up to par in relation to Jersey Mikes usual standards, I would not have had to make the trip. I was told the delivery fee can’t be refunded because I ordered through a third party which I did not. She told me I had to go elsewhere to retrieve the refund without instructions. There are no refund instructions on the Jersey Mikes website. I paid a $5 delivery fee for a bag of chips. I contacted Jersey Mikes customer service and was forwarded back to the franchise without response or resolution. Needless to say I will not return to this location....

I frequent this location at least once a week with no issues until recently. My mom and I dined in and ordered the #13 giant Italian. Upon eating, we noticed that there was an unusual thin layer of sliced meat on the sandwich which was less than we normally get. After taking it back to the counter and questioning the girl who made the sandwich of the amount of meat given, it was realized that she only gave us 3 of the italian deli meat instead of 5. To make matters worse, she had the nerve to get an attitude after being called out on her error and acted as if she didnt want to make the sandwich over the correct way. So in hindsight, she expected us to pay $14 for bread, a skimpy amount of meat and toppings (pickles, peppers, onions, etc) that they're stingy about giving you unless you ask for a little extra. But oddly enough, they always make sure you get a heap of lettuce. Be forewarned...when they're slicing the meat, make sure you watch them closely to ensure that you get what...

Wow, it's sad to do this but after tonight's (8/25) experience I will not be coming back and I'm downgrading them to 1 star. It took over 45 minutes to prep 2 sandwiches on a night with ZERO customers. Four employees makings two sandwiches for an online order and they DID NOT READ THE ORDER BEFORE PREP. Nothing was correct and one employee looked up and said "oops, well I didn't even read the ticket haha." We called back to speak to a manager and we're told by the same employees she wouldn't be in tonight and we can handle any issues you may have. The issues didn't stop there but I'm running out of words for this review. The service appears to be dropping "sub"stantially every week and I hope corrections are made soon. This was a terrible experience and I recommend everyone avoid until the issues are corrected. Until then may I recommend Firehouse, Jimmy Johns, Subway or even Publix because you will have an overall better experience anywhere...
