Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Macon

This is probably the best Papa John’s that I’ve Ordered from. The young lady who handled my order is amazing. I wish I could remember her name. Hopefully she sees this. You made a bad night so much better.However, there was an issue with their Door Dash driver. That’s the only thing I don’t like is having a DoorDash driver deliver my food. The DoorDash driver delivered my food to the wrong apartment. Even though I put in the proper information and told her what apartment I was in I even put it in the instructions she still delivered it to the wrong apartment. And then when the restaurant let her know of her colossal screw up she had the nerve to get angry that she had to come back and bring my food again after they remade it. It is well known that DoorDash drivers will steal your packages and steal your food. They will literally take anything and everything they can get. And you won’t get your money back. So next time I get Papa John’s I will go pick it up myself because again I don’t trust DoorDash to do anything. That is my only issue with this restaurant is that they Allowed DoorDash to deliver their pizza. Why would you not hire your own drivers?I don’t like DoorDash and I don’t trust DoorDash. I used to love this location for long days after work. It was perfect for delivery however lately when I call someone picks up the phone then they hang up over and over again. They delivered my pizza this last time and had a topping my daughter is allergic to on it that I asked over the phone several times not to be added they left so fast I couldn’t catch them. I called and was repeatedly placed on hold after the first few times of being hung up on I decided to actually drive there because it would’ve been a waste of almost $40 if I didn’t. This was so inconvenient considering I have children at home and we were all very exhausted. They remade the pizza and refunded me but I think there should be much better customer service for customers calling in and willing to pay more money to have them deliver. Very...

The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did experience a slight issue with my order that I normally wud have given a 1 star for but earlier I was able to speak to the manager Clay at around 12pm and he was AWESOME AND AMAZING! He did his job and did it well. He correcting the situation and made me feel like he really cared and also that customers are valued and it was the best experience I’ve had with papa John’s and I really want to say thank u so very much for being so kind and I will continue buying my pizza from there especially knowing that there are still kind and efficient ppl in this world.
