We recently moved to Canal Winchester and discovered Ella’s Kitchen. We have been here several times now and love it. The place is nice, clean, and welcoming. The service is quick and kind; we have had good conversations. We have always enjoyed a drink, and are very pleased with the food! So far, we have had the meatballs appetizer, a burger, a sandwich, a pizza, and a salad. Everything has been delicious. I just had the gorgonzola pear salad with a glass of Pinot Noir and The Capo Pizza and highly recommend all of it. We look forward to trying the brunch and bottomless mimosas on a Sunday. Also, it looks like a nice place where to read/write/work in a relaxed way. We are very happy to have found this place in the area, and are excited about seeing it growing and succeeding! Thank you and good luck! đŸŸđŸ·đŸșđŸ„‚âœš

New spot in Canal so stopped in for early dinner. Very inviting and loved that there is some room and not right on top of everyone. Il start with the hubs, he ordered their Chicogo beef. It was shaved ribeye with sweet peppers and aujus. He said it's a little different than Cap City's, but just as good in it's own way! We shared parmesan garlic fries, they were good. I had a smash burger with carmelized onion, lettuce and pickle with a special sauce; it was very tasty! Our server was super sweet. Things are Ala carte so maybe just a smidge pricey, but it was all great and we will definitely go back. They have some yummo sounding pizzas, so have to go try!! Definitely stop in to support them!!

Ella Kitchen and Wine Bistro is one of our regular go-to spots — my fiancĂ© and I absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it perfect for a relaxed night out. The staff, from the waiters to the bartenders, are always warm, attentive, and professional. The food is consistently amazing. My personal favorites are the Capo pizza — loaded with flavor — and the drunken mussels, which are simply irresistible. I usually pair them with a refreshing watermelon rosĂ© cocktail that hits the spot every time. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a quality dining experience in a charming setting.

Had been wanting to try for a long time. Boy what a disappointment.it wasn’t crowded when we got there. Lillian was our server. She was not the most personable-didn’t seem like she wanted to be there. We ordered burgers. Not being a fan of sauces I asked if aioli could be on side. No problem. We never got the one Diet Pepsi we ordered even though Lillian was walking around like she had nothing to do. I finally got her attention and I felt like it was an inconvenience. Burgers came out and we had to ask for napkins, silverware, and ketchup. My aioli was in a container but I noticed an orange sauce all over. I asked and she said well that’s the burger sauce. Told her that I didn’t realize there was another sauce. And that I couldn’t eat it. She looked at me like I was crazy. The menu shows it as roasted garlic aioli ,burger sauce. Not roasted garlic aioli AND burger sauce. I figured the burger sauce was the aioli. Actually a good server would have responded when I asked for the aioli on the side that oh well there is another sauce. She just stared at me and said well I can check to see if they will give you a new bun and cheese. Most places with any class and good customer service would remake the whole thing. So I then proceeded to wipe all the sauce off, took off the pickle ,cheese and carmelized onion. After a bit I was hungry so I just cut burger in half and just ate with bottom bun. Then she finally comes back with an untoasted bun and a piece of cold American cheese. I ate neither. The fries were good. Burger pretty tasteless not seasoned and no salt and pepper on table. Worst...

Food exceeded my expectations. Cocktails were well-balanced. Appropriate check-ins from our server. Nice atmosphere.

Found this place by googling. Wanted something closer than downtown for my birthday dinner. We've been to BrewDog many times and it's a cool vibe, but I wanted better food. This is right down the road from there and after browsing their menu, we picked Ella's. It did not disappoint.

I ordered a bourbon cocktail, and it was perfectly balanced and garnished beautifully. We had the firecracker shrimp as our starter, which was good.

Entrees: He had the lobster ravioli which had plenty of filling and a lovely cream sauce. I had the short rib pappardelle, cooked perfectly al dente. Both came with bread for the table. (Note: I gave 4 stars and not 5 because my dish could have had more meat, but it was still very good.)

Last notes here, do not let the fact that this is in a strip mall deter you. This is a hidden gem and feels like it should be somewhere in the Short North, not tucked into a strip mall. We're not wine drinkers, but they had a nice selection, and the atmosphere was right on for either a date night or casual gathering with friends. We did go on a Wednesday around 7pm and it was not busy, so we had no issues with service as I've read in some of the other reviews. At around $25-35 per entree, I felt the food quality matched that price point. We'll be back as I had trouble choosing from the menu as all the entrees sounded great and there are other things I'd...

My husband and I went to Ella's back in June. I had seen positive reviews on the local Facebook pages. We had received a coupon in the mail and decided to go. The servers were friendly but the server, I believe, was assigned to our table only came over once or twice. There was another young lady we had to stop to ask to put our order in. The food was very good but we were definitely not impressed with how long it took just to get our order in. They seemed extremely short staffed. We felt bad for the servers though and the manager who was there that evening was EXTREMELY rude to one of the very obviously young waitresses. He completely talked down to her and we could hear it from our table. I understand having to manage but raising your voice and being demeaning to your staff is not the way to handle it. On top of this, when we were leaving the coupon was not applied to the bill. We had provided it to the waitress when she first brought the check over and then when she came out after saying it had been applied the amount due had not changed. We really wanted to just leave at that point so we didn't bring that up and just headed out. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this with the coupons but that was also horribly disappointing. Don't offer them if you aren't going to apply them...
