A8 China — Restaurant in Madison

My friends and I order from A8 China almost every time we are craving Chinese food. I had originally heard of this restaurant from my work place a couple of years ago and have been recommending them ever since. I have had nothing but great experiences with this restaurant. I've never dined in, but delivery is always quick and they're always incredibly friendly when I come to pick up. The food is always hot, delicious, and the portion sizes are excellent. The chicken is tender and doesn't have any gristle, which is something I've experienced with other restaurants. Plus, again, they do NOT skimp on any of the food! Every now and then, they won't have a specific drink if you order online, but they always substitute it for something else. A lot of the times, they'll include a drink with your delivery as a curtesy! I can't express how much I truly enjoy ordering from here and I highly recommend it if you haven't tried...

I don’t make terrible reviews but this is absolutely by far the worst service I’ve ever had to deal with during a DoorDash delivery order. & I’ve been to many many places. There were two employees at the front counter that could have helped me but they continued on with whatever they were doing. On top of it, she wasn’t gonna send me with the order even though I showed her the order number on the app. Then, the order wasn’t ready for another half hour after I was supposed to pick it up. If you are looking at time management with DoorDash I would advise not to take any orders...

Personally, I love A8 China. It's been my go-to fast food place since a few years back when I started attending college here. They've always had less than $6 lunch meals. It has the best General Tso's Chicken hands down: sweet and tangy. Asian Kitchen's is usually tough and dry. The crab rangoon here is slightly sweet and very tasty.

Another thing definitely worth noting: I've eaten there on several occasions and Chinese students frequent it as a popular hangout. It makes sense to me because they actually make some delicious Chinese...
