When in Madison and looking for a movie- this is the place to go for movie lovers. {Oh, and there are otherwise usually impossible gems to be found here). Intense (meaning large) selection of foreign films and documentaries. Great selection of older movies, plus of course new releases. Also, not of my interest, large selection of TV movie/shows. I read some complaints about .cust service being lacking - this has not been my experience- in fact just the opposite. Knowledgeable staff has helped me find movies and suggest movies. Oh no, in the international section they have Japón, the weirdest and most uncomfortable movie that will haunt me for the rest of my days. It's also the source of inside jokes and trauma bonding. Don't watch it. Instead, watch Alambrista!, the first film I ever saw featuring non-glamorous actors that look like real people, which makes their situations come to life and more immersive.
