Pure Green State St. Closed until 1.19.26 - Capitol Square location is open — Restaurant in Madison

The smoothies were delicious I will say that. HOWEVER, I’m giving 1 star because of how UNCOMFORTABLE the 2 girls made us feel. I didn’t catch their names because of how fast we all wanted to leave but I can tell you they were working Friday August 5th, 2022 at 11:30am. We came in to grab some smoothies before our work out and immediately the energy was off. We weren’t greeted at all and while we were looking at the menu the girls were rolling their eyes at us and laughing. First of all…. we’re visiting Madison from NY (here for the CrossFit games) and the experiences we’ve had have all been great so we were shocked at this one. They were complaining so much to each other as IF THEY HAD A LINE OF CUSTOMERS. The store was empty. They also could NOT stop awkwardly staring at me and at one point when I caught the girl in yellow she immediately looked down because she KNEW she was being aggressive. There is so much potential, but I had an awful first experience this opening weekend. I went in excited to try the place out. The person taking my order looked very annoyed and unwelcoming. On top of that, I waited over 30 minutes for my drink, and at this point, it wasn’t too busy. So many people got their drinks/bowls before me and they ordered after I did. I wasn’t the only one waiting that long for an order. Additionally, they only called out the drink that they made and don’t speak up. Many people ordered the same drink, so no one knew who’s was who because they don’t label the cups with names, so idk why they bothered asking for my name in the first place. You just have to guess if it’s yours or not. My recommendation is to start labeling cups with names and have the worker at least act like they want...
