I placed my order online for delivery. Once paid the wait time was quoted for about 2 hours. So I called to switch my order to pick up which didn't bother me, we just wanted to be lazy! The guy was super nice. He let me know they were just really busy. I completely understood. I asked when my order would be ready and he said 45 minutes. The phone call was at 7:14 and we only live about 5 minutes away. We left around 7:50. Pull up and this is what we see from our car: papa johns employee sitting on the curb smoking, a parked car with the papa John's delivery sign on top, 5 employees inside not doing much. We started to walk in and a girl employee ran out side to sit on the curb pouting, a guy ran after her asking what was wrong. We walked in and the cashier had her back turned, talking to another guy. She didn't know we were there. The guy finally stopped the conversation to help us. They were nice but for them to be "so busy" that it would take two hours for delivery seemed like BS with all the employees we saw doing nothing They didn't seem busy at all what so ever. I understand a lot can change in 45 minutes being worked in restaurants for 10+ years but for them to quote a 2 hour delivery seemed impossible with all that we saw pulling up. So we get our food and our mistake for not checking our food. The pizza was supposed to be half pepperoni but was all pepperoni. Not a big deal and I wouldn't have waited for a new one anyways. The buffalo wings barely had sauce on them. I mean like they were just drizzled with sauce and not tossed. And what really irritated me was the pizza was cold. The garlic sauce is always melted when I get papa johns since the pizza is so hot. Not melted at all. They shouldn't have quoted me 45 minutes clearly. On top of that I tipped ahead of time for delivery and they didn't take that off my bill but took the delivery charge off. I feel they should have asked. I also should have check the receipt before I left. We will never go back to this location which is a bummer bc it's so close to our house and papa johns is my fave pizza. I'll have to find a new fave pizza place close by. And also there was a little boy (I assume the cashiers son bc she was holding him as we drove off) was running around the restaurant. And the "manager" did not have a hat on. I'm for sure knit picking a few things I could have looked past had my whole experience not sucked.

What is going on that you pick up and I hear you and then you hang up without even saying hello. Very unprofessional. Get your customer service together.
Update: I called again and hit number two instead of number three on the menu and the phone was answered within four minutes. I asked for a delivery to be free since they wasted 18 minutes of my time on hold. I asked for the manager and was told I was speaking to the manager. When the manager first got on the phone he said weāve been having complaints about the same issue of being put on hold and being disconnected.
