We placed an order through the mobile app—three Whoppers and a side of onion rings, plus extra onion rings added to one of the burgers. Simple enough, right?
We arrived to pick up the order, and the employee casually tells us they’re out of onion rings. Okay… so can I get a refund for that part? Nope. “You’ll have to call Burger King customer service.” Seriously? I’m standing right here, being handed an incomplete order, and now I have to jump through hoops just to get my money back. That’s exactly what we were trying to avoid—extra hassle. We chose BK tonight to make dinner easier because we were short on time. Instead, it became a whole ordeal.
To make matters worse, we had to swing by Whataburger just to get the onion rings we originally wanted. Then we get home and—surprise—the Whoppers are all wrong. Not one of them was made correctly. What’s ironic is that I used to work at Burger King as a teenager. I know how these burgers are supposed to be made. This wasn’t just a slip-up—it was pure carelessness.

When I told the person on the window that I was picking up orders #90 & #91, he said "Yeah. That's for Maggie, right?" I told him not. I repeated my order numbers 3 times and gave him my name. Forty-nine minutes later, when I got to the drive-thru window, the wrong order was quoted to me. Again, I gave him my order numbers and my name. Another employee came over and found one of my orders and walked away to start filling it. The original window person called the other employee over. Neither of them could find my other order, which included a strawberry milkshake. The window person told me that they didn't have strawberry. I told him to make it vanilla. He then handed me a bag with 2 sandwiches in it. The other employee then came over and asked what my order was. I told him, and he went to get it for me.
