Ron's Hamburgers & Chili — Restaurant in Magnolia

I went there on Monday, Presidents’ Day, and made an order to go. It was simple. A chili cheese dog with onion rings and an off the menus chicken fried steak and salad. Had a beer and even gave the girl a five dollar tip. Got home to find no onion rings, no white gravy, which I asked for extra. Now I am already in trouble with the wife cause I did not check it. I took it back and just said I want my money back. The manager and waitress came out and she said I did not ask for white gravy, who’s ever heard of a chicken fried steak without gravy? The chili cheese dog looked like a pile of dog doo, there was no extra gravy. Again she said I did not ask for any. Bulls..t. When the manager went to give my money back, and I was not quiet about it in front of at least 20 people, he told me I had to pay for the beer. A wrong order, add time to drive back to the joint, my gas and he still had the audacity to tell me I owed him for a beer? An unhappy customer. I even put a five dollar tip for the girl and said I would never be back. They did not seem to care. I guess that they are doing real good so they can afford to lose a customer so I am letting everyone know that this place sucks. If you want to be screwed, go on up there I have said my piece. Not peace. Enjoy.

Update My wife is madder than a wet hen and is going to bed without eating. I am in the doghouse again for not checking the meal before I left. Do not let this happen to you and if you order out, check your meal...

Update Stopped in to get lunch, and the place was busy, but only one server. She was handling it well though. Also seemed like the air wasn't keeping up with the heat outside, so it was hot in there. Other than that the food was good, and the little server girl was doing a good job.

First post Figured we would drop in and see what these burgers are like. I am not one for chili, but a good burger... Will get me every time. I got the 1/3 pound sausage burger, loaded with jalapenos on it, and a half order of jalapeno fries. Burger came out super fast, and looked bigger than my stomach. The burger itself reminds me of Steak and Shake, just bigger. The taste.... Was great, had unexpected flavor. The fries were cooked very well, the oil used tasted clean or new, which also surprised me. The wife got a hamburger steak, with brown gravy. She ate all of it and said it was really good as well. I love this place. There is a great home cooked vibe every time I eat here. I have tried many of the menu items and they are all great! Always fresh and made to order. The chicken bites are juicy and crisp and either fried or grilled. The hamburger steaks are seasoned and cooked to order. I enjoy covering mine in brown gravy and onions. (now I am hungry)

I love this new location even closer to my house and that makes me very happy! We are a family of 5 and coming here never breaks the bank and we always leave very full and satisfied!

My husband usually gets the chili covered cheeseburger and can't seem to get anything else because he claims he is in love with it.

My kids get anything and everything on the children's menu and are always happy to add chili and cheese to their fries.

We even came on their opening day at 12:30 and sat right down and ordered. The food was just as good as their...
