TERRIBLE customer service. If I could rate NO STARS I WOULD. The employee at the tortilla press lied to everyone in line saying there was no more chicken left- when in fact a pile just sat there behind him needing to be cut up. Straight up lied to everyone as they asked about chicken. Disgusting behavior. When a customer called him out on it, the employee played it off and said it just needed to be cut up but it would "take like ten minutes or something." A lot of customers seemed in shock. No one was given any apologies, as he just shrugged it off. Some customers said they wanted the chicken, but he got more annoyed and repeated it would take awhile. Another whole family said they would wait, but he appeared super annoyed again and yelled at someone in the back to come up and cut the chicken. He never responded to any of the customers! He went on to continue scraping the tortilla press for some reason angrily and making a loud banging with it to address more people in line ahead of me. The line was so long- yet there was no sense of urgency from anyone working here. It was horrific to watch how rude he was to his coworkers too, and the attitudes of everyone else in the back too.
The smell of something burning caught my attention as I stood in line. Yet, I couldn't tell what it was. Whatever it was it made the whole place smoky and smelly.
Also, the back door needs to be locked.... A few young boys were using the front entrance and back exit doors to chase each other continuously as I waited in line. They chased each other in and out as if it was a playground. Then again, this is typical absolutely absurd behavior from the young and dumb boys of the area, not so much from the workers in this regard.
While waiting in line NOT ONE person cleaned up the absolutely disgusting and FILTHY tables, floors, & drink area that had other people's food and trash laying all over the place. This was now the second time in a row in a few months I have noticed this location looking and smelling nasty. It was almost as if no one cleaned up and sanitized anything for HOURS!
There were a lot of people just staying in the back, playing their own music, which was also very unprofessional. There was no music playing overhead- almost like someone lowered it or shut it off(?) One employee was shouting at the other as they were goofing off, and the floors seemed dirty back there too....
When I politely asked about the drinks in the mini fridge, the employee stood there shrugging. As I asked about a specific one, he said "oh yeah um I don't know what any of those are though..." instead of turning around and looking at what I was pointing towards. He continued to stand there staring at me. I then explicitly told him to take it out of the fridge so I could look at it. I was even super polite and courteous, maybe even TOO patient. Other workers gave horrific responses to all the customers in line as they requested their toppings or extra meat. They even ignored and were rude to a customer picking up a carry out/ door dash/Uber eats order.
Not one person seemed to care about the cleanliness of the restaurant, and about 99% of them possessed ZERO basic customer service skills as well as any manners at all... All except for only ONE young man ringing everyone up seemed to be completely void of any respect for themselves, the customers, and place of employment. This place sure went downhill and has been for some time now. There appeared to be no manager on duty. No leadership. No team effort... I've never encountered such a disgusting and disappointing restaurant - and to think I was giving this location...
Read moreApparently coming in an HOUR before close is such an inconvenience for a bunch of kids that chose to work there. The curly hair chick putting together the food was working so slow, then has the nerve to give attitude about asking if they have vinaigrette left. Then proceeds to walk away before taking care of my fiancee and complains “I just want to eat my tacosss” saying it so whiny. Marks my bowl as having guacamole, I told her there’s no guc on there (walks away not listening to me) asked if there was even protein on the tacos for my daughter(even though we asked for steak), acting like she wasn’t the one who made the food for us. Then you have this punk ass cashier with the biggest attitude I’ve ever seen. Getting mad because we asked if we were even allowed to eat there considering those chairs were up way before we got in there and with them starting to take the food away, then must’ve made a face to the tall one who must’ve been an acting “manager” turns and says “well we can’t say no because we close at 10.” Asked if we wanted a highchair for my daughter without even taking a breathe asks where we are sitting, so I replied saying we don’t need the highchair that it’s fine, he cuts me off getting mad and said “so where you sitting” and I responded saying it’ll be up to my mom so she can sit comfortably, throws his hands up and goes “whatever” straight to our faces. As we were sitting to eat he’s sweeping the floor talking to another worker swearing left and right with us right there and two other customers. Another customer even pointed out how filthy the soda machine was, the Minute Maid was straight water because they’re too lazy to switch out the bags. I couldn’t even eat my food because I got way too uncomfortable with how the cashier was acting and looked, then the other employees acting like it was 30 minutes past closed. Needless to say we got a bag and left. I work in the restaurant business as well, you NEVER act like this in front of customers and you’re not suppose to be closing down the restaurant an hour before close when you have many customers trying to order food. Manager must’ve not been working tonight. Can’t even hire competent employees, just lazy kids who don’t care. Worst service and location ever. Waste of...
Read moreHonestly wish this place would just close so I am not tempted to order from here anymore, it brings me so much stress. What a miserable restaurant. This is one of the few things my vegetarian (their choice) child will eat, so we order here semi-regularly. Once or twice a month, on busy nights. There is ALWAYS something wrong with our order. It is most usually that they leave out chips and our kids meal drinks. (Speaking of chips - if you order from here do not expect to get your full 4 ounces of chips. You'll be lucky to get 3. I have had some days where I've received under 2 ounces of chips (including the weight of the bag!) so I always have to order extra chips to compensate, and THEN THEY LEAVE THEM OUT OF THE BAG.) But tonight pushed me over the edge when I asked for LIGHT salsa and there was so much insanely hot salsa on top I couldn't eat past the first bite of my meal. What a waste of $17 (the price after tax when you order the guajillo-garlic steak burrito bowl). I recently went into the store to pick up an order instead of having it delivered, thought that would keep us from having trouble. Nope. Ordered at 6:15 for pickup at 7, I waited 20 minutes for my 7pm order. And when they gave me the food I noticed something was missing, I told them I had ordered it separately, and it wasn't there. They insisted on unpacking the entire order looking for an EMPTY soda fountain cup, and then the guy proceeded to argue with me because the drink was on an order on its own that I hadn't paid for one (I had told him three times I had put in a solo order for a drink since I had been waiting for 20 minutes, so it wouldn't be on the list with the other food, and he still went through the food and argued that I hadn't paid for a drink even though I was showing him the receipt. Anyway, I digress.) like I'm trying to get a free drink from them or something. It's to the point where I get anxiety just thinking about the hellfire that'll be raining down on me when I have to choose which of 3 kids is going to get the 1 chocolate milk in the bag after the restaurant forgets the other two. Spoiler: THERE IS NO...
