I have been going to this location for lunch about twice a week for the past year. Their service has always been poor. Even if you are a regular they don't consider the correct portion size when placing ingredients into the tortilla. It's hit or miss. I am always polite and say please and thank you. I am also very patient to wait for ingredients that seem to always be out at their busiest time (chicken, rice, beans, fajita vegetables, guacamole). This seems insanely ridiculous, how have they not learned to prepare more food well in advance after it happening the first time? This makes the long line even longer and more cluttered. Then because of this, they get ingredients wrong and their customer service suffers. Also don't even think about placing an order online because they will get it wrong or it won't be ready by the time it's scheduled to be picked up.
I once waited for Guacamole to be prepared for an order I was making for my co-worker. I waited patiently for 5 minutes for them to put it on the burrito bowl. Finally it was ready and I assumed the woman would put Guacamole on the bowl because I have been standing/waiting for 5 minutes so I didn't even bother to make sure. Sure enough, I get back to work to find that there is no guacamole on the burrito bowl even though I paid for it on the receipt and waited 5 minutes. These sorts of things happen all of the time.
I love Chipotle since it is healthy and the ingredients are usually quality. I have been a regular at different Chipotles for years and I can tell the difference between good and bad service. Read moreFun story!!!!!! Buckle up. I ordered an online pickup order tonight. When my husband got it home, there was so much wrong with it that I had to go back for a refund. And I’m no Karen. I’ve worked in the service industry a huge chunk of my life as a server and bartender. When I say “wrong” about my order, I mean that the two kids’ meal quesadillas I got had NO CHEESE between the hot tortillas. They put two tortillas in the iron without cheese in them and THEN wrapped the cheese-less quesadillas in foil!! Hahaha. How does that even happen? Sides were wrong, my veggie burrito was literally all guacamole. And as if it wasn’t bad enough to bite into a chipotle-sized burrito filled solely with guac, the guac was rotten so that made it 1000x gnarlier. Mind you, I never get a night off from making dinner, ok? So I’m like hell no. I go in and talk to Paul, “the manager”. He does not ask me what went wrong with my order, he literally could not give zero effs. He “refunds” me gives me a receipt and I leave annoyed af and then lecture my kids at home about how they need to work hard no matter what job they have in life. Hang with me cuz this isn’t over: two hours later, I look at the refund receipt; he CHARGED me AGAIN. No refund! Oooooh I was not ok. Had to go back again! While I wait I notice place is filthy; the manager then had his coworker, a girl who must report to him, type in all the info of my order cuz “she’s better at it than he is”, his words. I don't know if it's still a training center, but the consistency has gotten poor. There are times that they are spot on. Tasty, plentiful, clean, and attentive. Pleasant. Then there are the other times. I've read some of the reviews from other customers and I can't argue with their assessments because when they're not on top of their game, it'll be memorable. From lousy housekeeping in the dining room and bathrooms, to stingy portions (even when you ask and agree to pay more), adding in the indifference in stocking the sauces, napkins, and soda lids, you're left wondering why you came back. Now, I'd like to add a personal observation about the ingredients. What has happened to the quality of the steak? It tastes as if it has been in the freezer for years before they cook it.
