Panda Express — Restaurant in Maine Township

I walk in, wait in line, and begin to give my order. The young lady/team member writes the order on the top of the container. Then, she says something like, “give me one second,” and walks around the corner to the manager. Myself and the customers in line wait, look at each other and shrug. I wait as the cashier is now scooping food for the customer in front of me. The line is beginning to grow. I move up in line to see my first team member standing with her arms crossed. The manager is counting money and oblivious to the breakdown in their business process. Thank goodness the cashier saved us hungry patrons by serving food and running the register. I know this is not a sanitary/efficient restaurant practice, but we were happy to eat. The pride in work ethic/facility and customer service is lacking in this location. P.S. This was my go to spot after work when I was in the mood for Panda Express….but last night going in there…😕…I seen something that I’m sure happpens all day everyday at these Panda Express locations…but I still don’t want to see it…I’m walking in…& I see a young woman behind the food …pickup some chow mein noodles that was outside of the platter holding it….& with her bare hand…grab it & put it back with the rest of the noodles that they were serving…(THROW IT IN THE GARBAGE!!!…MY GOODNESS!)….& I was like no she didn’t…😠🤷🏾‍♂️…I went in & ordered my food because it was late & I was tired & hungry…but I paid close attention that she didn’t pull from where I seen her throw the noodles ….now like I said…I’m sure at every Panda Express location (& maybe food places in general) they all do the same exact thing…but it’s like I said …nobody wants to see it 💯💯💯…so I’m giving this...

I swear I will drive any number of miles to come to the panda express. There are multiple other panda express locations near me. This is the one I keep coming back to you and always will! Pretty much no matter what time you come in, even very close to close time, the staff are always willing to cook food, and make sure that it’s fresh! it’s very much appreciated that they do this, considering other panda express locations will not cook even an hour to 40 minutes prior to close time. I understand places can’t cook until the very last second, but I feel like this panda express really cares about the customer! Specific shoutout to Johnny!
