Explosion of fresh home cooked flavors, Kuddos to the Chef! The staff was wonderful and friendly.
For starters, we ordered the Fried Spring Rolls. Piping hot, deep-fried crispy roll. The ingredients were so fresh I could taste the ginger and vegetables for once. Also had the shrimp donuts and WOW, packed with lots of shrimp. I could barely taste the breading. The sauces they came with are on the very watery side, would have paired well with a heavier duck sauce, they seem to have watered these sauces down too much. But no regret! Both were very tasty.
For the main course, we had the Leng Zabb. It was supposed to be mild spice (be CAREFUL, definitely ghost pepper like), but I can't say anything but how delicious this soup was. Lemony flavors from lemon grass to almost sour orange (island flavors) with fall off the bone ribs. The broth was so delicious even hubby powered through 😋🤭... if you have not spicy tolerance, just ask for no spice. We also had the crispy garlic red snapper. Hubby is a fried fish enthusiasts and let me tell you, this fish was so fresh and crispy that it didn't even get soft on the bottom. When we flipped it over, it was like starting over again. The fish is garlic crusted, so if you love garlic like I do, you will absolutely love this dish. It was cripy yet juicy with lots of flavor. The vegetables are a great addition to make wraps. This fish brought me back home to the island!!!
For dessert, we enjoyed the Thai Tea Pudding. Think flan but a bit creamer with a tea flavor. The caramel sauce could be a bit thicker in texture, but it works.
I'm not much for cocktail drinks, but their pea tea mojito was to die for!! Had 2...🤭
Large portions, each dish could be shared. Definitely recommended. I definitely...
Read moreI had an awful experience at this restaurant today. I came in for lunch between 1:15 and 2 p.m. I was immediately greeted by the only server in sight, and I inquired if they accept Apple Pay. He said yes, and I was seated. A few minutes later, when I was about to order the Panang Curry, the server notified me that he would like me to pay beforehand. This was my first time being asked this in a table service restaurant. I immediately suspected racial profiling and asked why, and he responded with “no reason.” I said I was not going to do that, and he said he would ask his manager (I suspect he did not, given the conversation I had with Jack, the supposed manager on duty that day). He returned less than a minute later to say I could pay at the end.
I contemplated just leaving because who would want to eat here now, but I just ordered my food. Except for bringing out food, water, and the bill, the server had no other interaction with me. Service aside, the panang curry was also mediocre, but the spring roll in the lunch special was tasty.
I called about 10 minutes after leaving to speak to a manager about my experience, but the person who answered was James, the server. He took down my name and number and said, “No manager was here at the moment, " which made me laugh internally. Soon after, at around 2:25, the manager, Jack, called and told me this had never happened before, he was sorry about my experience, and he would speak to James. There was no offer of retribution, but his apologies seemed sincere enough. First, and almost certainly last time I will visit...

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with cozy vibes and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind—attentive without being overbearing, and always ready with thoughtful recommendations if you’re unsure what to try.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish is packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The Pad Thai hits that perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory, while the Panang Curry is rich, creamy, and just the right level of heat. I also tried the Crispy Duck Basil, which was a standout—crispy, aromatic, and layered with depth. Even the sides, like the sticky rice and Thai iced tea, are done right and taste like home.
What sets Lim Ross apart is that it doesn’t try too hard—it doesn’t need to. The flavors speak for themselves. It’s authentic Thai cuisine with soul, served in a space that feels like a neighborhood favorite, even on your first visit.
Whether you’re craving comfort food or just want to try something new, this spot is well worth the visit. One meal here and you’ll understand why so many people return again and again. Lim Ross Thai doesn’t just serve great food—it serves an experience...
