I walked in today with my entire family and with some friends. We were a group of 8. When we sat down it took awhile for the waitress to come by. We were patiently waiting. When the waitress finally arrived we put our entire order in because we all hungry from waiting so long. When the waitress was taking our order she was completely overwhelmed. This establishment is understaffed but that is actually not my problem. They should have refused service if this was the case. We gave a basic order and just asked for lettuce in one cheeseburger order and tomatoes and no cheese in the other cheeseburger order. The waitress just kept saying ummm as if it was something so complicated. We still remained patient and didn’t say a word. We waited over 55min for our food and never once said anything. When our sizzling fajitas came out, they were far from sizzling. The other foods were also cold. They must have been sitting for awhile. When waitress came i notified her that food was cold but i said we would just eat it because we were so hungry. I had to ask for plates and tortillas since there wasn’t enough for us. We went to the bar ourselves to get more beer. We went ourselves to get napkins and sweetener for our iced tea. We remained calm until the end. When we finally got to a supposed assistant supervisor he didn’t have much to say, and didn’t even care for that matter. We had to ask our waitress two times to get manager. Luis came and instead of de-escalating situation he made it worse. As i was complaining seated in my chair, he ripped up the receipt in my face and threw it at me. This happened in front of my entire family and friends. I am disgusted at such service. My wife got up because she was upset and he continued to yell at her. He was threatening to call the cops when we didn’t do anything. I told him he should call the cops. I will be giving a formal statement against him and will be taking this up with upper...
Read more(elevatio I’m) but I met several outsourced dancers who were friendly and told me their names, like TJ for example. After that I walked to the very busy bar, all the barrack ladies had their heads down and not one greeted customers with words like ‘hello, we’ll be right with you’ or something like that. Perhaps they’re enslaved because their is NO excuse for silence in the bartender world. After 20 minutes without service or acknowledgement I went back to my hotel. I forgot my phone and went back to complain to a manager. The mesera said I was a liar without knowing what my complaint was. I gave her the Latino finger shake: meaning I really dont want what you are selling. While I was waiting , I asked her for mil-ochocientos-cuarente dos 1842. I wanted 3 shots and a Modelo beer. It’s $40 per shot, so I would have tipped 30 percent on that because I’ve worked in hospitalit myMy tab would have been $130 plus 30% bout they never bothered to say hello or sorry for the delay. They just want their tips without speaking or greeting. I got one shot of 1842 when I picked up my phone. I tried to speak with the unnamed female manager in a quiet location but she complained about me to the guy with green hai from elevation who was checking wristbands. They kicked me out before I had had one drink. When my one shot of 1842 finally arrived without salt or a line I downed it and left. I’ve spent $6000...
Read moreThe first word that comes to mind is "Festive"....The bar area hosts the largest, most incredible selection of tequila that I have ever seen. Many bottles are showcased under lock and key so you'll definitely want to taste some of those!
So prepare to have an experience when you are at this restaurant.. Be patient as they are super busy during the various seasons that we enjoy her in Mammoth. They have indoor seating, a private lounge, to go orders, and the bar/indoor dinning area will make ya wanna spend a few hours enjoying all that Gomez's has to offer.
"Chillax" is the word that comes to mind. After a day of outdoor adventures her in Mammoth.... this is a place to connect and enjoy being with family and friends. If you're flying solo, just sit in the bar area, order up, and make some new friends.
The google ratings are skewed here in my opinion. I mean these chefs take great pride in putting out an array of inspired Latin foods (I ate here 3 days in a row) The taco selecti are legendary, they also feature fresh ocean caught fish and hormofree meats. There are choices on the menu to please ones pallette!
I also learned that most foods are prepared from scratch for your dining pleasure hence the chillax comment earlier.
PS....Don't forget to take home a bottle or two of there homemade salsa.
PSS...The flourless chocolate cake OMG amazing with their...
