Where do I even begin? Let’s start off with the atmosphere. I love the location of this place! It’s close to everything and I mean everything. If you’re landing in Dulles Airport, this has to be your first spot to come to when you land. You’re immediately greeted by super friendly workers that have infectious smiles that’s if you aren’t already distracted by the mouth watering aroma once you walk in. Now let me be honest, I’ve had Shahs before, but let me just say, not all Shahs are the same. If there is to be a flagship store, this has got to be it. I mean look at the reviews, it speaks for itself. (And they’re not bots or bought reviews either, all legitimate people). The food is wonderful. The chicken is NEVER frozen. I confirmed with this with the owners however I knew the moment I took a bite. The price is SUPER affordable. $10.99??? I drove all the way from Springfield to this spot and I would do it again, over and over again. Take my word. Try it and you will never be disappointed. Everything is absolutely on point. 5 stars is not enough to rate this place. Subhan and Hasib continued to make sure every guest was satisfied with their food. Ordered them from doordash. I'm so happy that I found another great middle eastern restaurant. I'm middle eastern so I'm always searching for them. I can tell they care about the customers by the prices and quantity of food. I could already tell just by looking at the menu, and the food was perfect. I recommend the lamb over rice, but if it's your first time might as well get the chicken and lamb combo and decide what you like more (or just enjoy). Also, another note about them caring that I almost forgot to mention, they put my cold coke in a separate bag from the hot food specifically so they stay apart (and so the can doesn't get dirty by itself, I presume). Placed order online and 20 minutes later sgowed up to a store that has no containers. With this as an issue they could have called to update customers who had already ordered and paid. Guy held me there for 10 minutes asking us to wait for the owner to bring containers all the while I am asking for a refund (had frozen stuff in the car and couldnt wait). Too much especially being there is a harris teeter right there, be innovative guys if you have to.
