Don't get me wrong, i like a good loose atmosphere. but when its at the customers expense it becomes an issue. Quality, Service and atmosphere. 3 main ingredients for a successful business with customer service. this place failed on all. But, Not completely.
Front counter- the dude was in another world and was only there for the plethora of drinks he pulled from the cooler and poured into his cup. Talking on his phone was apparently the highlight to his job and talking in front of customers, not an issue. not to mention where he stood leaning on the counter and drinking his Beverages while the young girl took orders , brought orders to tables and packaged to-go orders. You should check your cooler inventory and possibly re train the dude at the counter. you owe it to the girl who is carrying all the burden there.
cooks- this is interesting to say the least. they yell , make a lot of noise back there including yelling into the dining area. coming out with the shirt hiked up half way and wearing a cape. again, interesting this is happening around the customers. they seem too busy yelling about war out into the dining area to the bar to pay attention to how their cooking the orders.
bad burger has a potential , its unique , the food has a chance to be quite good and the atmosphere can be very enjoyable.
the manager? Owner? i don't know seemed nice enough and was on it when my order was raw. Gave a refund i didn't ask for and even some more fries. Quite nice and it was refreshing to have it taken care of.
suggestions (if you care at all about anything i said)
place a sign that says please order here. less confusing for the new customers your trying to pull in.
*front counter should be making your customers, specially the new ones, feel seen and saying "welcome to bad burger"
*the cooks well, take the capes away until they can truly be a burger hero. Just remind them ( superman didn't need to yell at Lex , he just showed him his power.)
dude at the counter needs to pay attention and help. otherwise he's a waste of money. Give the girl a raise and dump the kid if he doesn't actually start working. She's doing it all...
Read moreIve came here about 10 times. Each time seems to be better than the last. By far my favorite bar tender name is Mimi. She brings such an incredible energy to the bar and always has something interesting to talk about. Her service skills are second to none and you can count on her for anything. She is attentive and never forgets about her patrons. Love her dearly .
Now lets talk about the food. Its called bad burger. While the burgers are really good I think there are some other hidden gems here. My absolute two go to items are the hot dog and the chicken nuggets. The bad dog is a foot long and can be absolutely loaded with anything you want. Its high quality and very filling. One time I ate two in one sitting. If you ever order one you will see how that's Impressive. 10/10 hotdogs and worth the 10 bucks.
Now lets talk about the chicken nuggets. I can clearly tell they have been modeled after McDonald's nuggets and I mean that not only as a compliment but also to say that I think these are simply better. If you are a chicken nugget fan this is the ONLY stop on elm street for you. I am actually upset that a 10 peice and a 20 are not offered. I kind of think the price of the nuggets need to be adjusted. If 10 nuggets costed 5 dollars they would sell a million. I would buy a million. They could functions solely off nuggets if they wanted too. Call it a bad box and make it a 10 piece for $5 done deal.
The atmosphere of this place is kind of dark. Black and red. Lots of swirls everywhere and they do live music here multiple times a week. They even have a blues night. If you come here late at night on a weekend dont be surprised if you walk into an actual mosh pit. Not even joking.
Overall I think this will be a mainstay on elm street for a long time to come. Ive heard they are planning massive store openings all over the place. Be prepared to see bad burger wherever you go.
Come here if you get the chance....
Read moreI really hate leaving bad reviews but I want the owner to be aware of what my friends and I experienced last night. Bad Brgr previously hosted Magic Mondays where a group of us would get together and play the card game Magic the Gathering and eat burgers. They stopped officially hosting about a month or two ago, but my friends and I, a group of about five people total, were told that we could continue to come and play. We were told it was ok to move one of the tables so all five of us could sit together, we always moved furniture back where it belonged at the end of the night and we always wrapped things up by the time the restaurant closed, and we always bought food and drinks, we were paying customers. Well last night we walked in and set up as usual. We ordered our burgers and fries and took a number and sat down at a table. My friends started to move a two top over so we would all have room to sit together and eat when a manager, not the usual Monday manager, walked over and snatched the table out of my friends hands and yanked it back into place. She yelled “nope, we’re not gonna move my tables, Magic Mondays hasn’t been a thing for a long time, don’t touch my tables” if we had been politely asked not to it would have been a different story but we were not treated with kindness, she had an attitude and made us feel unwelcome. After our burgers came we took them to go and left to play somewhere else. We were all very uncomfortable with the situation and wished we hadn’t all just spent money there. We just wanted to sit together after all. The burgers are amazing, but due to this negative experience we won’t be coming back on Mondays and have found a new...
