McDonald's — Restaurant in Manchester

So I brought my young children to McDonald's. You know, the Golden Arches where kids go to get some fun food, a cute little toy and it's a special treat to eat there...the service was basically fine and everything was clean and all, that's not the issue. A few years ago, this particular McDonald's put in a flat screen TV. I don't think we should have a TV in front of our faces at every second of the day, but even that is not the problem. The problem is, the news was on, as always; not a kid's show. They were talking about violence and shootings, and terrorism, etc. (exactly what is always on the news) My daughter went to ask if the volume could be turned down so we didn't have to hear all the bad news. There were subtitles playing on the screen. We did not ask to turn off the TV or even to change the channel. We simply asked to turn off the volume and my daughter got a very cold "NO!" So I guess what we have learned is that McDonald's (at least in Manchester CT) is NOT AN APPROPRIATE PLACE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN unless you want them to be made aware of all the terrible, violent, hateful events happening in the world. They will be exposed to it soon enough without having to answer questions at McDonald's from your five or seven year old like, "Mommy, why are they holding those guns?" and "Why is everybody crying?" As a parent, I don't believe in exposing my children to the hate of the world at such a young age...but I guess McDonald's does. Needless to say, we did not finish our dinner in the restaurant. This McDonalds was the worst McDonalds Ive ever been to. Yup you guessed it the McDonalds located at 70 W Center St Manchester CT 06040. This has happened to me multiple times and I just cant take it anymore. The staff at this McDonalds is the worst in the whole state. Again I ordered a curbside pickup and when I got there the drive through had a pretty decent line. The app was messing up so as anyone would I walked inside and waited at the counter. After waiting at the counter for 5plus minutes I tried to get someones attention. Multiple employees looked at me including the manager on shift( I know it was the manager because she was casually talking about firing people who she called to come in and declined to come in as I was waiting). They all just looked at me and a few of them smirked like they got joy off of ignoring me. After waiting a few more minutes I began to speak louder, but not in a yelling or screaming manner at all. They all just looked at me again including the manager then she laughed and they all kept walking back and forth doing nothing because at this point the line got longer and plenty more people came inside the McDonalds. At this point I want a refund or something. I decided to leave because at that point no good would have come from me getting louder or even going behind the counter. Im done with this McDonalds and ever other one. Im disgusted by the nasty foul mouthed women they have working there. I cant wait until the McDonalds at 70 West Center st,...

If I could leave zero stars I would! This location has got to be the embarrassment of Walsh enterprise's! I went there Sunday afternoon 1/16/22 to grab a quick lunch. I walked in the dining room and was rudely told I couldn't be inside cause the dining room was close. Mind you the posted sign on the door said it was open. They could have posted a sign that says dining room temporarily closed drive through only.. but when I suggested this I was again spoken to with rudeness and an attitude. The reason I dont go through the drive through at this location is they ALWAYS screw up the order to some capacity. Heck they do it when you go inside as well. They are slow, the food is usually cold, and most of the time you get an attitude. Walsh enterprise's has been a McDonald's franchise owner in this town as far back as I can remember and I cant believe they let this location get to the point it is at. I'll happily take my business to burger king or wendy's for that matter but I'm sorry Walsh time to clean house on west center st. Cause I wont be going back and I'm telling all my friends about my experience and believe me as someone that is very well known from all the years I worked in the bar circuit I can guarantee a good portion of my friends will no longer go...
