What a great experience, if expensive. Went to Michael's because they had 70% off the frames. Well it's 70% off just the frame. It's not 70% off the labor to frame the piece or the glass or the mounting or that sort of thing. Having said that though we were helped by a lovely woman who looked at what we were framing and offered up the exact right frame. I mean we would not have been able to find that in all those frames so she was really helpful. And she helped us with the price and it turned out to be fairly expensive but because I got points on my card I got to buy some new Christmas decorations! I went to the Manchester store yesterday. When I went to check out, this lady was training someone. I wish I had said something then but I did wish the trainee the best and told her she did very well and just take a deep breath..you got this. But the trainer....she had long white hair in a braid....sorry did not catch her name. She was the most patience trainer I have every seen. She explained each hiccup that happened when the computer was not registering a sale. She was extremely patience, calm, knowledgeable and broke each issue down with your new trainee. Went into the the store to buy a gift that wasn't on the shelf. I looked around for any floor Associates that wear the red Michael's jacket. I found one helping out another customer. I waited until she was done and then asked her about where I can get the product I was looking for.The associate smiled and said we dont keep them on the shelf anymore because its a very popular item. Being in the field of retail in the past I understand why the extra measure is taken for anti-theft reasons. She told me to ask the cashier upfront that she will be able to further assist me.
